Do you play an instrument or want to play an instrument?

i can play the piano though, i wish i could play better so that i can sing and play at the same time... mou... but i don't have the time to do anything anymore..

And My mom forced me to play percussion instrument of Chinese origin since I was 8 years until now so I can play it well^^

Use to play the flute when I was younger but now I've totally forgotten how to. Now I wanna learn to play a guitar.

I'm an ex-band geek. I had originally planned to study performance in university, however, my mother told me she wouldn't help with tuition if I did either music or art, she logic being that it wouldn't be a stable investment.

Anyways, I started playing piano when I was six, but quit after a couple years, so now I can play piano music s-l-o-w-l-y smile

I picked up percussion in grade 6, then the summer before grade 8 I learned the clarinet which I played in grades 8 and 9 while participating in all-city and region band on percussion (as well as band camp for both percussion and clarinet). In grade 10 I did percussion in school again and then I moved to Texas into a school with an amazing music program. I did drum line in marching band and was able to play the school's brand new contrabass clarinet in their highest band.

Yeah, music geek to the core it seems, right? I even have a letter jacket. The letter is inscribed with "BAND" XD I lettered in marching band, hahaha.

In university I joined a student-run symphonic band as a percussionist and still play my clarinet sometimes in my spare time. And even though my mother forced me into an academic stream entering university, I managed to switch to Art History to satisfy my artistic inclinations, HAH!

I dont play anything well (except maybe vocals...I think Im pretty good there) but I can kinda play the flute and I pretend I can play the piano and drums. Really, if I had the option I would love to actually learn piano, drums, and guitar, as well as develop my voice better (lately my voice practice consists of Arashi, Arashi, some Arashi, and did I mention Arashi?) Supposedly, according to my mom when I was younger and took voice lessons I was also being taught piano but I didnt seem to get the memo and quit. If only I had known.

i used to play the piano when i was 9.
but i stopped and i started to learn the violin when i was 12..
i am still learning the violin, but i am not very good at it..

Ever since I watched Miyavi playing the guitar I wanted to leard, ofcourse I can't play it and it hurts (my poor fingers) but it's nice to have a guitar and try to play once in a while until I can make something that sounds like music :P

I can play the piano. I've been playing it since I was about... twelve, but stopped right before I entered high school. I kind of want to pick it up again and improve my skills.

I'd really love to learn how to play the guitar and bass.

I had someone teach me piano when I was in grade school so I kind of know how. But I can't do sight-reading or whatever that's called so I play real slow.

I took some violin lessons in high school but I can't play. At all. cry

never been encouraged in music...
tried percusion once but had to stop...
if asked what i want to learn... i'd say piano...
