And here I thought I was the only one with the same fear.

Being popular in this country is quite a double-edged blade. Two things could happen: they become classics (think Beatles reaching iconic heights) OR they become novelty acts (let's face it, that's what F4 in the end turned into).

There's also a part of me (a huuuuge part) that doesn't want the so-called MASA to know Arashi, because I don't want what happened to F4 to also take place. I guess I am being selfish, but I'd like to think it is not unfounded. Medyo nakakainis nga na makita ang mga mukha ng F4 sa mga faded paper bags and low-qual shirts. I guess that's what happens with overexposure.

I hope whichever media giant "fully introduces" Arashi to the Pinoy populace do it with restraint, and finesse. Because Arashi deserves nothing less.

Well, you're not the only one. I am selfish too! Who would want their idols being used in such a way that they overexposed to the public (and them (media) getting big bucks out of them) and after a while they just go *pooF where are they? ...I hate it, really.

Hi! I'm new here and just like a bunch of you I was Jun baited but by Hanadan. I saw that they were going to show it on GMA but I looked for it over the net and found it on crunchyroll. I got hooked. I voted for Nino though because I am beginning to love him more in love

I haven't seen Letters from Iwo Jima though... can't wait to get my hands on it... don't get me wrong I still love Jun! drooling

I'm so happy to read about other Pinoy Arashi fans. I was surprised to see Nino leading in the poll. I guess once you discover the group, whether you were Jun baited or not, you'll begin to discover the one you really love.

I agree with you that sometimes I want to be a little selfish too because it is like a double-edged blade here. I don't want them to defile Arashi here.

Welcome, twistedhalo04!

I guess it doesn't really matter what got you into the Arashi fandom, Jun-bait or not (although that has got to be the more-than-usual reason Pinoy fans are getting into the action). Soon, you'll probably find yourself loving all 5 of them equally. As I do. My choosing Ohno was simply because they left me no choice but to pick one for poll purposes. big grin

I agree, Niji is really beautiful though short. I am waiting to hear Ohno's and Jun's and I hope it will cater to my liking in an instant just like Aiba's and Nino's. Sho's solo is okay but i guess it will take me a little while to really dig it. AND i really think the whole album is great after them releasing 10 songs already (what songs are there still left unpreviewed?) Honestly, i wish they've kept most of songs unrevealed til the release. Playing 1 or 2 songs is enough but they've almost played the whole album! Ha, such spoilers! oops, i sound like complaining...hahaha..a little... but its all good..can't do anything about it.

Anyway, Welcome aboard Nicole! Hope you enjoy your stay here and be active, ne?

I agree with you. Ang access kasi natin e yung mga dubbed Asian shows at si Jun pa yung madalas nandun. I guess it's natural. big grin

hmm...I actually picked Jun. Yeah, i'm a Jun-bait victim. But I dunno, despite all the dorky things I've seen/read about him, and despite how he fails at sports when he was Jr, he doesn't have the *nicest* voice in Arashi, he walks like a queen, etc etc etc...he still makes my heart beat the fastest. ^^
But I love them all almost equally now.
