lol... I posted here before saying how my mum is against me liking Arashi. But now she doesn't mind as much now. It's been a year since I started my obsessions and half a year with Arashi. (yay!)

My mum tries to act like she did before but I can tell... She secretly likes Nino!! Whenever I listen to Niji she starts humming along. And she watched some of Yamada Tarou Monogatari with me.

But she still gets upset everytime she sees how much money I spend on them...

My mom, well i dont think shes fond of it either. but shes okay with it. i just cant play japanese songs in the car though XD


My older sister claims she doesnt like arashi.
I always catch her singing this part in A.RA.SHI "You are my soul! soul!"
And then she mumbles the rest. Then when i catch her and give out a big smile, she turns to me with a straight face and says "I DONT like arashi" then when i play songs on my phone, she goes, "Ina! play the: You are my soul! soul!" then i give her another big smile and she goes" What? i still dont like them"

She a weird sister >.< but i know she likes them


My dad's not fond of japanese things. Whenever i watch music station on TV he'll say:
"Hay Nako. Japanese nanaman???!" (Hay nako... no direct english trans. but its something you say when youre annoyed with something that keeps repeating and its something you dont like/annoyed at. ...Hay nako Japanese again??!)

And when i listen to their music, "Hindi mo naman naiintindihan yung sinasabi naman nila ah!" (You dont't even understand what they`re saying! )

My dad thinks that ever since i started 'fangirling' I've been anti-social and a loner. it really pisses me off. just because i spend a lot more time on the internet, and i dont go out with my friends coz theyre always busy, doesnt mean im a sucker at life.

It really annoys me. how he hates japanese stuff and all. And how he thinks im so anti-social. My friend even said that im the most social person she knows! just because he doesnt know my friends, doesnt mean i have none

My parents aren't too happy about me listening to Japanese music in general... They're always asking, "Why are you always listening to Japanese music? Why don't you learn Chinese instead?"

Sometimes I'll be sitting next to them and I'll start singing an Arashi song and they'd get mad and say that it sounds like I'm just singing a bunch of random nonsense.

My parents just want me to stop listening to them. They say, "Who would like this music?" and then I list a bunch of my friends and even family members that like them, but they just ignore it. Even my brother likes Arashi! He would sing, "You are my soul! soul!" blablabla.. And then my mom would say to him, "Why are you singing 'you are my social worker? '"

Ahh, my parents are dumb. -_-

this topic it´s soo funny ... I guess that almost all of us have received a "Do you now what are you singing? " well I don´t know I live with my dad and I think that he´s a little sick of them but he sometime sing Wish in very weird way bu he does lol he´s always saying "You should go out" or "Arashi again" things like that and when I started to say that I wanna work cuz I want to go to Japan he was really pissed off like "Why don´t you buy a car instead" but I think that he´s accepting my obsession

I was watching Arashi's AAA +in Dome concert when my mom waltzed in the living room -- food in hand -- plopped on one of the sofas and watched it with me. When the cameras focused on Nino she went..


"That one! That is the most handsome of them all."

No. I didn't ask her opinion. She just volunteered that. So yeah, she tolerates us (me and my sisters) watching all those arashi shows and concerts and jdramas and movies. ^^;

And my three-year-old sister also goes: "HEY! HEY! HEYHEYHEY!!" whenever she hears Fight Song. So, it's all good.

maa~since i learn to love arashi, i cant seem to stop talking about them around my family. my mum likes them in mago and usually end up watching with me until dad came and ask "where's dinner?".

my sis would go "there so goes again, arashi arashi is all you know". but she like japanese drama and so she does know of nino and matsujun (since both been doing drama quiet a lot). just recently..i was very surprised when i got a message from her saying aiba is very cute, funny and all.. she was watching arashi in music station and decided that arashi is addictive. cant wait to hear "riida kawaii" from her since she says ohno got the most non-idol look.

my big bro is the anti-idol type.we all know how some guys are right? he's always mocking me when i sing arashi songs and threaten to throw away my arashi dvd and stuffs. but i know by now that he recognized each member's name and face and that he thinks they're cute too (just that he wont admit it)

My parents just think I'm crazy and know that I have more than a half of my computer space dedicated to them. Also they are annoyed that I keep humming their songs.

At the beginning I didn't say anything about Arashi to my family, but then when I was like "yatta!! I've received Arashi's CDs!!!" They said: "Oh, come on, they're the Japanese's Back Street Boys!! And how can you like something you don't understand!!"
Then I tought about telling my aunt (who likes music from other countries) and the comment I got was: "Aren't you a bit old for this?? And, OMG! They look like girls!!"

So, this is what my family thinks about them ... but of course, i won't affect me being a fan of them!!

i guess i'm not the only one who has an older sister that hates arashi. though when i say she hates them, she really does. its a good things she's not blocking arashi sites.XD
but i caught her singing wish one time. but she still hates them. huhuhu she thinks i betrayed shinhwa (a korean group) becaus now i love arashi

my younger sister loves Nino though and arashi of course.

and my mom is my rival with JUN! though she always says Sho is so HOT yeah! she told me that, but she likes Jun. she calls Nino and ohno gay because of the Ohmiya kiss (in which i am a fan) but secretly, she loves Nino's acting. plus, she encourages me with my fandom of arashi!!!!!

and my dad, yeah. the same dad ever. he doesn't support me too.

They are not interested in j-stuff.

but here`s what my family thinks of arashi:
My dad- Says Nino is a better actor then KimuTaku, and arashi is better than KAT-TUN (he doesn`t like to listen to KAT-TUN)
My mom: doesn`t really care
My brother: he doesnt like them but he knows a lot of their songs because I sing them a lot.
My grandma on my mom`s side: watches arashi tv shows at night. (she said she watched them do silly experiments, so i think she was watching a no arashi)
My aunt on my dads side: likes arashi but is no crazy about them.
My family is Japanese so they all know arashi...
We also all watch doramas together.

yeah my mom likes it and she has arashi songs on her ipod but my dad could care less

My mom is also my best friend.

Everytime I watch the Arashi vid I downloaded, she'll watch it with me.
She always cracks up (and get amazed at the foods) in Shukudai-kun.
She watched Gakkou e Ikkou and is smiling/laughing with me as we watch it.

Well, she thinks they're 'good' entertainers, and they look young in their age.
(She specifically points out that NINO looks like a teenager, despite being in his mid-20s).
