What your parents think of arashi/ JE

Recently my mom has taken a liking to yamapi when she started watching the drama proposal with me XD

I know she liked nino in letters from iwo jima, and she has commented about my lovely sakuraiba desktop on my computer XD

So I would love to hear your stories about what your parents grandparents or other family think of arashi or of JE in general. I know I've heard some hilarious stories about parents or grandparents liking arashi members and I would love to hear from all of you

My sister loves Arashi! She's who I normally talk to about them.
While my mom thinks they all look super feminine, aside from Nino, she says he's the only one that looks like a guy Eh?

And my dad...well...he just ignores me whenever I'm watching something Arashi. Occasionally he'll ask a question about one of the videos. Like Nino Cam, he asked if they were alright when they all started screaming "YEA!!!" xDD

My mom loves Arashi!! I got her addicted to them!! She watches them with me and finds clips and then we share. Every now and then dad will watch a clip if it's really funny. My younger sis is addicted too!!

I don't stay with my parents, so they don't get to see what I've been doing that often, but to my aunt who I lived with when I was in Japan, she thinks Arashi and NINO are good looking, and I could drag her Husband who's now 60 years old to be another NINO's fans! He usually dislike Boy bands,neither JE, but now he is really into NINO's Solo songs And Arashi's BLUE.

Well but I still hope that someday my mom will turn to be another Arashi's fan too!!! Wohoo!

That's histerical!! Did your Mom really believe that you had gotten married?! Or did she realize that you meant Nino?

My Mom almost tackled me when I got the AAA DVDs. She was so excited!!

At first, my parents didn't really like Arashi but when I let them listen to my Arashic album they loved Arashi. Well my dad didn't really but my sister and mom love them. ^_^ When my mom saw Letters of Iwo Jima with Nino in it she was instantly surprised he was in Arashi. I never knew that my aunt liked Arashi all along until I heard 'Hero' in her car. Eh?

Of course she laughed at me!! But it's kind of everyday's joke mentioning NINO as my mom's Son-in-law. hahaha.

If my mom sees my AAA DVDs, she'd ask about the price and then scream like mad, "HOW DARE YOU SPEND ALL YOU MONEY ON THIS THING!"

Yet, my dad, feels very nothing towards arashi, but he just keep looking for what I've been doing, and when I mentioned about Arashi, he'll said, "Still MAD about this group?"

Ok, our forbidden love seems to have long way to go before it can be accecpted! rotfl

My youngest sister {I'm the oldest of 4 girls} ~who is 7~ loves Ohno, She even wrote him a letter. My mom also likes Arashi{she even bought me the LE version of TIME clapping

One day she noticed him in my wallpaper and find him really cool XD

They don't really care about them! XD Actually my dad (I don't really know) seems to frown upon me listening to Japanese music. But they can't make me stop! My brothers dislike the whole IDEA of Arashi but I occasionally catch them humming Sakura Sake or Love So Sweet or even A.Ra.Shi itself.

For me, like kaoruko-chan, i always intro our arashi boys to my mama as her son-in law.

I mean i only introduce masaki-baby as her son-in-law. in love

Everytime when i wanna my family to focus on arashi boys, i will purposely watch their concert at the living room. And when the camera is on masaki-baby i will shout "hey it is your son-in-law!! we already engage liao ne!!".

Actually now my mama already used to refer masaki-baby as her son-in-law. Since whenever i anyhow throw my masaki-baby uchiwa around in my room, she will say your hubby is lying around in your room. Wohoo!

lol so funny!!!!!!!!!!! really? "Which country." haha! For me...they're used to it already. Whenever I say I have no time to do this or that, to go out or whatever, this is what happens:

Godbrother: *sings to the tune of A.RA.SHI* arashi, arashi.... or *sings to the tune of LSS* Zutto Zutto...

Godfather: Arashi again arh?

Godmom: Haiz..waste time only.
