Do you like or not to know if the boys are dating?

Ah.... well I may feel a little disappointed if my favourite member is dating someone, since I'm a fangirl I suppose. Maybe its that secret hope that I'm the one for him or something silly like that? I'd feel... aah if we had met before he'd met whoever he was dating... aah who knows kind of feeling ~sigh~

Sounds really silly but that's the truth.

Having said that though, its perfectly fine if they date or whatever, but they shouldn't be harassed by the media for it. Therefore, if I were to see a pic or something of their private life, frankly speaking, I'd just be annoyed that their life was disturbed for making news. And of course, if the news is something extravagant or bad, then I would really feel that those kind of reporters (if you can call them that) should be stopped.

I suppose the kind of fan you are matters as well... I've always been a fan of Kimura but I had no problems in finding out he was married (and that was quite a while after I'd seen two or three dramas). I'm still his fan. I'd be okay with Arashi too, as long as they do tell us in advance. Then definitely, I'd wish whichever Arashi member the best.

I agree with you. I find it really sad when I see any pictures of the boys during their private time with their girlfriend. As a fan, I don't mind if they have a girlfriend but at the same time I don't need to see poses with their girlfriends that were meant to be private.

At the same time, if the pictures were leaked and it came from their ex-girlfriend, I can't help but feel really sorry for our idols. It's like wow, the person you were with and who you loved decided to take revenge on you in the worse way.

I don't know if I feel it's ok for them to public announce they have a gf, if it's because I'm not a really big fangirl or it's because I'm in Canada and there's no chance to meet them. I lived in Tokyo for 1 year and I've meet a lot of fans. Though all the girls, as much as they fangirl, seem to not think they will get together with their idol. I do think the chances of meet Arashi is higher when you're in Tokyo. My friend saw MatsuJun walking in the street like normal.

lol I guess what I'm trying to say is, they should be allowed to have girlfriends, and if they did, I wouldn't mind knowing but not knowing is alright. Whatever is comfortable for our idols. Heart

Like a when the time that your brother, sister or your friend has someone to be his/her lover
You need to know about him or her, right?
(Why I said like papa/ mama of them ^-^)

I am totally curious to know that if arashi is dating some girl now. But, i not mind if they are dating, i will support them! They are just ordinary people like us! So, we should feel happy for them if they had meet the right girl! Maybe i will feel sad for someday...but just someday. Then i will be fine!

I don't mind at all; they are humans and are in their right to be with someone they love, I would support them.

i live in North America, and everyday on entertainment shows and such, i see like mini-vid clips or photos of celebrities taking pix of them on dates, even though they're not on actual "dates", they're just on friendly get togethers.

personally, i would like to know who they're dating, but i don't want to pry into their personal lives. of course with being famous, it's hard to keep things from the media (especially in the US), so they're dating/personal lives are something they should keep to themselves....

i'd like to know if they're seriously dating someone (but it's okay if we're kept in the dark w/ it too because it's their decision to stay quiet about it) and it's natural for most ppl to want to know who it is. as a fan, i'd probably cringe for a second then get over it =P but as a person, i know they probably do date around.

but in all honesty, for me to know that they are seriously dating someone means i must have read it through some entertainment/gossip portal meaning it required unnecessary media attention that has the chance of jeopardizing the relationship (since they're not supposed to have relationships). and that saddens me.

I'm not really interested in their personal life and would rather not know. I'm never going to meet them. Unfortunately, some Japanese girls truly believe that they have a chance to marry or date them and they get a little too caught up in the fantasy world.

for me, its ok to know.. they are good looking men and having a significant other is a must..
they at least deserve to have that happiness in their personal lives..

I do think its better to keep their personal life unknown to the public, it is their privacy afterall. Probably Johnny's rule of no dating is 'there' to protect the boys. I doubt its a nice feeling if the whole world knows you are dating and the media begins to bug at you.X__X

I really wonder if any of them has a stable relationship under the wraps..I do hope they settle down but still be active in Arashi!
