I'd rather not know about any of them dating. For me, the whole 'idol' image includes being seen as available and to find out that one of them is dating kind of ruins that for me. That being said, it really doesn't bother me if they're dating anyone. What normal 20-something year old guy doesn't date? But for the sake of image I'd like to stay blissfully unaware. ^_^

They are all in their 20s, dating is going to happen - relationships as well, who really knows? Some of the Japanese fans are a little off-putting, I must say. Suicide? It really isn't the end of the world. I think dating is healthy, fun, exciting and with their busy schedules, I think they deserve the right to have a little fun here and there!

As for knowing whether or not they are dating... I don't think that we as fans have the right to know or care really, but you are going to find out about these things and you're going to be curious, naturally. I don't think it's any of my business, personally. I support them all as a group and hope that the decisions they make in their personal lives don't effect their well being and the future of the band....

I don't mind if they are dating...Actually I really hope they have a "social life". It must be so difficult for them, always paying attention.
I hate rumours and scandals! They made me worry for them! I think i prefer not to know mostly if the info is not reliable or not official...
As a fan I just want them to be happy and continue to do music! <3

I'm asking this because I read somewhere that some fans from Japan don't like to know and threaten to commit suicide... In JE cases they send letters and threaten in many ways... So that's one of reasons the boys don't say if they are or not.

That's completely nonsense! I don't mind, it's so natural! I want they to be happy! More happy more they brings wonderful moments for us! ......... What kind of fan is that?....... @_@

I don't really care. The boys are human. They're free to date somebody they like. It would even be better if they hook up with female artists that I like. :p

actually, I like to read all the rumors about Arashi members dating and talk about them with friends. for ex. we wonder if the girl's right for him, if she seems like a nice person. sometimes i get mad when they choose really stupid girls, but it only last a sec smile

yeah, i like to know, but it's more like a part of trivia for me. and i can see what kind of girls they go for.

about that japanese fans. i'm european, so i think it's really hard for me to understand that culture. that's why i don't want to judge anyone. but they probably think of the boys as part of their common property. they spend an awful lof of money on them, they (the fans) make Arashi who they are, cause without fangirls there wouldn't be idols, so maybe it is understanable.

Hmm.. If I was dating one of them (omg that would be a dream come true).. I don't think I'd want people to know... You'd get so much public attention and if fangirls can commit suicide over stuff like finding out the boys are dating.. Who knows what they could do to you if they found out who you were... Scary.. .__.

So I guess it wouldn't really bother me if they thought he was single! I wouldn't mind them oggling over him.. just as long as he didn't oggle back! hehe big grin

I don't mind knowing and I don't mind not knowing. I just want our boys to be happy and to enjoy their lives to the fullest. Personally I don't think it woud be right of a fan to hate the person and hate Arashi therefore because they are dating someone... it's seems kind of stalkerish to me. ><; But I hope our boys find people just for them in the future and that they are happy! ^^

That's another good question.

I'd say I don't want anyone to know. Family and friends yeah, cause they are the people I'd tell, but the rest of the world? I don't care about them smile

Plus it really is better for Arashi members not to announce publicly that they have girlfriends. At least no until they're willing to marry them.
