Nino's just Gifted! He's really born to be star!
As I've seen several of his works,He can really make me into the stories...
Wonder if he did not debute as Arashi and really made himself to the US and study Acting just like he had prepared and planned to....
Might he had gone to be a star in Hollywood earlier than now?
But being a member of Arashi, must be the best thing for him, I guess... ne!
My first show I saw of Nino was STAND UP!! but i didn't really pay attention to him because I watched the show for Oguri Shun that was before I was into Arashi, but then when I learned about Arashi I watched NIno in Aono Honoo and that really got me. I've been trying to find his other dramas because I want to see what other roles he portrays. The dramas i want to see the most are Yasashii Jikan and Handoku. I've seen excerpts from Handoku and I think it will be a fun drama to watch. I hear its sad too, but i like dramas with Nino that are sad. I really like him as a serious actor and every once in a while a comedic actor too.

I think that Nino's acting has improved over the years, & I feel like he is definitley great now compared to when he was in Akimehende. Nino has worked really hard to become as good as he is now. Besides, if he wasn't good then Eastwood wouldn't have chosen him to be Saigo in his movie.

Like luna_sea08, I watched STAND UP! for Oguri Shun (i am a fan, still am), but Nino caught my attention, too. I thought he was really good portraying the part of Shohei, and that is where I first saw him. That was a good role for him because he was able to test the waters, so to speak. Show different facets of a character. He showed he has very good comedic timing and could also be a powerhouse in sensitive parts. He makes me smile when I watch him go from innocent to ridiculous to sweet to frustratingly dull. Lolz.

I think he's really good, far better than any of the other
Arashi boys.
(and this comes from matsujun fan.)
He has played both serious and funny roles, and thus showed
that he can do it. And he really can.
i totally agree! he is really good
I agree with you,in my opinion Nino is the best actor (but also the others Arashi are good actors)
yeah, the others are good too, like Jun in HYD, recently started watching it and have only seen the first two, but as much as i like Jun i hate Tsukasa so far! lol i wonder if my view will change later on...so Jun plays him really well.
and ohno is funny! i was watching this clip on youtube where he did a little acting segment on his solo 3104 concert and he was playing himself and sami, who was an okama i think, but seriously it was hilarious!! lol
so yeah, the others are good as well, though i havent seen aiba and sho in anything other than the first life is hard...movie. really wanna see the honey and clover movie
Jun is a good actor,I read the manga of Hyd and in some scenes he is really like Tsukasa character. I haven't see any Sho,Aiba and Ohno's movies,I saw some part of their movies in YouTube;I want to see Pikanchi (and Pikanchi double) where there are all the member of Arashi.
But without doubts Nino is the best at acting and I hope he will become famous, with Letter of Iwa Jima maybe now is the most famous member of Arashi... (but surely I hope also the others become famous)
i like more comic stuff than serious stuff so i haven't seen much nino's acting.. but i did see blue light and letters from iwo jima
i thought he pulled it off well (he did add a little humor in both movies)
he's just the serious kind of actor and he's good at it ^^
Nino's acting is so focused and committed that he just blows me away with whatever he does. I've seen Blue light, Yasashii Jikan, Stand Up, Minami-kun and Letters. I'm eagerly anticipating Haikei but *argh stupid school* due to wanting to pass school I can't watch it yet.
In Minami-kun no koibito there's a scene with no lip lock persay... but it's a little intense

ah--- i'm in love with his acting!!
(actually... i'm in love with him PERIOD)
anyways... yes... i agree...
he was FREAKIN good in "Yasashii Jikan"...
however... i wish that he would've had more air-time in that drama...
BUT... dude~ everytime he was there... it just made me feel SO sad for Takuro (Nino's character)!!
i was crying tears for him...
i love the way how Nino is able to create a whole new person~
it's amazing... in all his roles... all are very different...
and he was able to just create someone new~
what i also like about his acting is that alot of times
(well... all the time)...
i don't see that it's Nino but more the character that he's playing~
so far... i'm REALLY enjoying "Haikei"~~!!
it's so fun to watch~ ah~
Nino is an amazing actor! I can't agree more with everyone. That's the reason he even became my favorite [since Jun was the one that got me into Arashi]. His serious roles are so meaningful and touching and even in Stand Up!!!... a drama that I didn't like all too much. He played the character very well. It was a nonserious role that was somewhat serious because of the moral that his character brought out.
I really enjoy watching him act. =)

Whoa.
Thanks to this forum, I was finally able to watch BLUE LIGHT.
One word.
AMAZING.
He carried the film entirely on his own. Great performance by Nino. The story would not have worked so well if it not for his portrayal. Darn, he is sooooo good I was speechless throughout the entire film!
This reaffirms my Nino devotion. I still have to see Aiba and Ohno act. I thought Sho and Jun are pretty good actors themselves (Tsukasa, anyone? He fit the role to a T.) but Nino can practically do ANYTHING. He is so versatile!
