I'm practically a new fan here. It was Haikei, Chichiue-sama that turned me into a Nino fan, although it was not the first drama of his that I had watched. I think that one was Stand Up but I only saw 3 eps or so and it was because I wanted to see Yamapi's scenes. :\ But anyway, Nino in Haikei totally impressed me like woah. 3 episodes in and already I think he's one of the best actors around. His wide range of expressions really wowed me. Everytime I completed an episode, I could feel myself tingling with excitement, excited over how much potential he has, excited that I've just found something amazing, a genius. Nino totally acts with his face. So much weight in the way he expresses himself. It's just so touching to see such a great actor around.
I've since seen few other shows of his, am trying to find others, and so hoping to see a new project from him soon!
well, honestly i haven't seen much of his acting and dramas, etc. but i have seen HEAPS of little clips and previews and from what i've seen so far, nino is quite good. hopefully i'll get time to see some of his good acts though
roxy
Honestly I think nino is so much of an better actor than matsujun becuase nino i think he can play any role that he wants he's very diverse, but matsujun is still kinda stuck on the role for like romantic movies and teen stuff.
I think I'd be too biased when it comes to nino's acting.
However, I remember when I was watching ao no honoo my mom came up behind me and she commented on how good he was at acting =P. so, even though I may be biased, I highly doubt she is (she doesnt know anything about arashi). she also commented on how good his acting was in letters from iwo jima, but honestly I think he really captures the characters he plays
I really thought i was biased when it came to Nino's acting too. And then i saw Ao no Honoo not long ago. and instead of shouting "nino!nino!" at the screen, i was completely absorbed in the story and his character. he was honestly, really good.
Although in IwoJima, i couldnt help but shout Nino! instead of Saigo whenever he got into danger in the movie >,<"

I've only seen Stand Up! and Letters from Iwo Jima, but in both I think he did an amazing job! (Particularly Letters from Iwo Jima)
While watching Letters I couldn't help tearing up because of his character Saigo. I was aware it was Nino, but at the time I wasn't. Which I think proves he's an amazing actor
(I may be biased, but I seriously don't think I am)
I've watched a couple of Nino's dramas and movies and I loved him in all of them. It's amazing how he portrays his characters really well and conveys his feelings to the audience without seeming like he's trying at all.
When I first heard that he was in Letters from Iwo Jima, I assumed that he would play a minor character that had little (or practically no) air time. But I think it's a testament to his great acting ability to play such a major role and to be hailed by critics for his performance.
in my opinion, i think that nino has the best acting skill among the arashi's members..because nino's acting skill in Ao No Honoo really impressing my a lot!! he can act a sad and depressing character which i never seen other arashi's members who acted like him before

I bet you guys have already seen the first episode of Yamada Tarou? Maaaaan, ain't he jussssst sweet! I have always said that Kazu-chan NEVER disappoints when it comes to acting, and he proved it yet again. It;s only the first ep, but HE.IS.DEFINITELY.Yamada Tarou....
even though it's old, i just recently watched stand up. nino's role was super funny. he played the part really well. then he took a more serious role in haikei, which i enjoyed as well. he showed that he can act as sort of a comedic character, as well as an older, more mature character in haikei, chichiue-sama. oh! and i can't forget about him in letters from iwo jima!
i really do like his acting! he's the second japanese actor i took notice of apart from takuya kimura haha! took notice of him only when i went to watch letters to iwo jima though, which is a bit late aint it haha
I think that Ninio is great actor. Realy. Like him because of this. It seems you can see it in many of his episodes. So it is not a coincidence that Nino was chosen for iwo jima. And it proves he is talented.

Superb acting. Ive seen Sukoshi.., Yasashii Jikan, Ao no Honoo, Letters from Iwo Jima and Yamada Tarou.. and i must say, he pulled off every role. Whatever emotion it has to be, he can nail it easily.
yeah...
I like his skill in acting... I like him as an actor...
but I love him as a member of ARASHI... probably family of ARASHI...
no matter what role he acted, he can do extremely excellent...
I hope he can acts as a baseball player next time since he wants to be a baseball player...
