Hey! that's an ARASHI song!

Have you guys experienced watching a drama/movie and suddenly you hear a song which is sooo familiar you started to shout, "Hey! that's an ARASHI song!" yeah, that practically happened to me when i was watching a Kmovie/sitcom big grin

First, "Oh Party Tonight" by Lee Jung with Epik High from the Korean sitcom "Nonstop 5". This song is equal to "Eyes with Delight"

Then, "Geu Nyeo Reul Midji Maseyo" by Park Hye Kyung from the Kmovie "Too Beautiful to Lie". This song is equal to "Typhoon Generation"

Both Korean songs are pretty good but I still like ARASHI's version big grin

(LOL ...biased!) What do you guys think? Have you heard some others that resembles an ARASHI song?

EDIT: just found another one called "LOVE is all around " by Agnes Carlsson. This song equals to "We can make it!" in English! (thanks tess-chan!)

^ The 2nd song wasn't that speedy i think but the first song is much like ARASHI's. actually i heard the Korean version first...LOL

OMG it is! Arashi version is definitely better though (not biased, I swear)

The first one is slow, I think I like the faster, pop-ier Arashi arrangement better. Plus there is a distinct lack of Ohno awesome and Sakurap in the Korean version XD

But I don't really hear it in the second one confused

^ The first song is much like ARASHI's in tempo! i guess Divshare is messing up the file so the tempo got slow but i fixed it now. You can check out the second song too, all the streaming links, i fixed already big grin

I wonder what Arashi was thinking when she remade it. That's so weird...to think that some random person just knows this song. Hmm maybe not

Ah! We Can Make It! in english....Love is All Around huh? The singer's voice is very strong...however I still like the Arashi's version. I mean Love is All Around is good but its just not the same. I think you can always tell when a song was borrowed from another lanuage.

Nope! Arashi didn't release this song before her but Arashi.
This song is in album Stronger and released in 2006 so it's impossible that she would remade this song.
Anyway they're a beautiful songs both Japanese ver. & English ver. Heart

(But I prefered Japanese ver. LOL)

--the second is pretty weird for me confused

but the first one is ok.

kinda bias, but i like arashi's better, maybe its just because i heard them and fell in love with the song first....But i think i have heard Love is All around, it sounds fimiliar...other version on Typhoon generation does not sound good at all, O party, party tonight is not too bad though...

The composer probably sold it to both companies or something.
They probably thought that no one would be listening to both!

But yeah, I think I like Arashi's version better. It's more up beat and the english lyrics sound strange now that I'm used to hearing Japanese over that tune ^^;;

Yep ,I think the composer sold it.
Because I found this --> he's Jovette Rivera,a songwriter. w-inds. will use his song in their next album.
Besides,in his blog he said his songs were bought by Johnny's Jimusho.It used for T&T song(I'm not sure what song) and another is "All the way" that Uchi and Kusano performed his song for Playzone 2007.

Has anyone heard "Fragile" by Ito Yuna? The opening for it is exactly like the one for Cool & Soul except it's played a little slower.. The rest of the song is competely different though big grin

i was listening to the radio in the car when dad was driving me when suddenly i heard a familiar tune... it was the english version of We can make it but sung by Australian singer Ricki-Lee, who has apparently done a cover of the original by Agnes Carlsson. i was so surprised to hear it on the radio but it didn't stop me from singing the japanese lyrics instead lol.

when i got home, i did some research. the composers of the music are Swedish, so it makes sense that the first person to make use of it was Swedish. then it was Arashi, who probably just beat Ricki-Lee to it.

the song itself is a bit bland... the music is catchy (naturally!), but the lyrics are rather normal; there is nothing special about them. in fact, listening to the english version made me realise how catchy WCMI is. Arashi is about not giving up; the english version is about falling in love again. (clip

anyway i'm glad that the song is being played now coz now i can tell all my friends that Arashi has a better version and get them to listen to We can make it =P although i can see that there's already a huge reaction amongst those that have heard Arashi's version (read the comments on youtube *rolls eyes*).
