^ I just watched it was well, and the song itself is really bland. I was surprised that the exact same tune could be so different in the end. I think it was Ricki-Lee's voice and well as the lack of other voices which made the song not as vibrant as WCMI is.

^ I really hate the line "Makes me wanna get it with you" i mean... what kind of songwriting is that?! it demeans the whole song by putting in that kind of slang *fumes*

as for the tune, i think the arrangement is slightly different... the bass is much more played up in Ricki-Lee's version. WCMI is just more dynamic in the melody and the voices (and i swear i'm not being biased =P)

^ I know! I cringed at that bit as well!
I sorta loathe listening to the radio at the moment coz the lyrics to a lot of songs, even if the tune itself is catchy, makes me cringe to no end. Not that Japanese songs are any better in that aspect coz Arashi have their share of songs with those sort of lyrics, but at least I can't understand it ^^; I'm being hypocritical...

Of course not! ;P

oh, that's so cool.

did oh party tonight or eyes with delight come up first?
i thought eyes with delight was quite un-Jpop-ish...

Love is all around was nice.
but i think we can make it is nicer, 'cos there's sho's rap and their dance.
big grin

i'm so biased.

eyes wit delight came out first, i remember reading an interview where our dear aiba-san mentioned about a cover version of eyes wit delight by some korean artist....

i think the korean version is cool, the voice of the singer is so husky..
but nuthin beats sakurai's rap (and a to r a s h i )...lol...and satoshi-san's bridge...aiba's dance to this wit a blend of squeky matsumoto voice wit nino's adorable hand movements!!!!!!
he he he.....

Well isn't that nifty? XD

I have to admit, when I first heard "Love is all around" I was kinda...I don't know, angry that she got the composition for her song first? Now as I listen to it a little more though, its not a bad song...I just like WCMI better ((I was sitting there waiting to hear Anges break out into a Sho-rap but it didn't happen thank god XD)) ^^ I mean, the very first time I heard WCMI I was hooked to the song because of not only the catchy composition, but I was hooked because of Ohno, Nino, Aiba, Sho and Jun.

Oh Party Tonight was pretty interesting as well, as soon as the song began I almost burst out into "OH LOVE YOU LOVE YOU, YOUR EYES WITH DELIGHT" before I realized that it wasn't the same song. Oh party's not a bad song either, ((actually if I wasn't paying close enough attention and the volume wasn't fairly loud I could seriously mistake it for Eyes with Delight for a second)) but I definitely miss the "A to the R A S H I" part ^^ The song's just not complete without Sho and the rest of the gang, am I right?

*Shot for being super biased*

HERO ne, always sounded indian to me, has this indian melody to it..
'the bubles' from their earlier album sounds latin..

Has anyone heard "Fragile" by Ito Yuna? The opening for it is exactly like the one for Cool & Soul except it's played a little slower.. The rest of the song is competely different though big grin

sigh~... Arashi is love!!!!

i've heard yuna's "fragile" before cool & soul so when i was watching the AAA (i skipped the cool&soul part when i watched it before), i was thinking, "hey, this one sounds like 'fragile'!"

but arashi is really love!!

wow, I totally agree with you guys! Especially on that Love is All Around song. Its a pretty good song, I could actually begin to like it. But whenever it gets to Sho kun's rapping part, I have to rap to it in Japanese! haha! Cool~ and so it becomes a multilingual song.. Haha!! wink

I totally agree with sableheart. Love is all around lyrics is boring, I prefer Arashi's.

for We can make it :::

even though riki has good voice quality.... i think her voice will suit with a slow song better....

the tempo and beat of the music favors arashi's style that's why for me (maybe i'm a bit biased) We can make it is better...
