1.5 billion dollars budget?!?! This movie is a must watch. I'm glad MatsuJun chose this role..very different from his "mainstream" roles that he took on before. I'm glad he proved himself to be a verstile actor.

Thanks for your news translations. I don't doubt for a moment that it will be an excellent movie of big budget, good director and of course excellent actors. I saw the movie's trailer recently posted on youtube. I almost couldn't recognise Jun with his beard and dirty costome. I'm looking forward to its release in May and hopefully DVD will be english subbed as well.

I'm really loving 2008!! So much Arashi action... I'm hoping for a Nino movie sometime soon.
But a Jun movie is great and will keep me going till the Hanadan movie!!

I saw the CUT magazine photo shoot from the film and could just help but pay so much attention to the wardrobe and make used. Everything on his face was added- the facial hair included obviously. It all looks tremendously realistic though. Even someone with a particularly pretty face like Jun was able to look like...well, his character for this film.

I'm very excited to see the level of intensity he gives to his lines when he's in action. It seems like it'll be a must-see sort of film.

Seems like they really thought about the character.. and Matsujun seems to put his whole heart in it.. (Like always but..still)
I hope it will be a great success.. and I can't wait to see it!! smile

Hope this one also will be a worldwide production just like Nino's Letters from Iwo Jima..

2008 = HYD movie + this one.. and the year has just begun.. can't wait to see what this year holds for him!!! wink

You have to KNOW someone attending USC in order to go.
I'm going to look into this. If some students/alumni are going solo and can list people are their guests, it may be ok. Will post any updates.
