I think everyone did a lovely job in the movie. Nino was especially convincing. I felt for the character, so even though I saw Nino I was really thinking of him in terms of his character.

And of course, Matsujun~~~ I wish he had more than 5 MINUTES in the movie, and I was kind of mad about his character's ending...maybe just because I didn't like that girl? But oh well~
Yeah, I wanted to see more of Jun too! And that girl...argh.
I nearly chucked my remote at the TV...
Don't touch my Aiba-chan!
My favorite scene would be the bath house scene, because it was one of the few scenes were they were all there, even Jun. Nino's optimistic speech was adorable~ (plus they were naked hahahaha)

I liked the movie well enough, I didn't really understand the part in the beginning where they needed to sneak Nino's mom off the train. Why was she on the train in the first place? Was the train a mobile hospital? o_o...I'm sorry but I'm dumb OTL.
I think the mother didn't want to go to tokyo to have an operation so nino, to be able to take her to tokyo, had his friends pretend as doctors to give her a feeling of assurance or something, that the doctor himself is going to pick her up...
because i think at that time, there's not much hospital service support for poor people
OHHHHH. IT MAKES SENSE NOW. Thanks choshi! Somehow I thought...that the authorities had her on the train by force? Eh I don't know why I thought it. (and you're using an icon I made yay XD)
u really do feel sorry for nino's character at the end...all the hard work and effort...
its cute how jun's character gets the girl and a kid too!
Kind of shows some of the most simplest people in life can find the greater happiness whereas the other who are constantly pushing themselves wanting more and more find themselves in hardship
Well, were in reality now so everyone's life is different

i also did not get some parts... there was in the ending, nino's character was saying what the other's occupation are but while he was telling some nice jobs, pictures of the members nowhere near from the jobs were shown like:
ohno as bar manager - pic shows waiter
aiba as a construction designer - construction worker
sho, i could not really understand what the pic shows... but it's kinda different.
in my opinion, it's like they're lying to each other about their jobs... what about you, guys, what do you think?
and the ending about jun's character, it shocked and made me laugh... i mean, how did that delivery guy end up with a bar girl? and living in a farm?
saaraneth: the icon is something you made? sugoi! i was even wondering which of those would i use because they're all beautiful!
ohno as bar manager - pic shows waiter
aiba as a construction designer - construction worker
sho, i could not really understand what the pic shows...
Oh-chan becomes a bar manager (who looks after the hall at bars therefore
the uniform is the same as waiters),
Masaki baby becomes a constructor/builder therefore in overall/work clothes,
Sho-chan becomes a sales man for automatic doors therefore in suits!

Kiroii Namida was a really good movie. There were some parts that made me go ,"HUH?" because I was watching it through low quality subs. Yes. There characters definitly matched each ones true personality. I thought the beginning was sweet how all of them got to help out Nino's mother. Such good friendship portrayed there. Overall, it was a really good movie. I'm going to watch it five more times!! Hehe. xD
I bought the LE and I really loved it. I think they all did an excellent job. I hadn't seen Nino in much by this time and I was impressed with his ability. Ohno's character was too adorable. It was interesting to see how each of them brought their different characters to life on the screen.
黄色い涙 kiroii namida [yellow tears] is a great movie! i really love films that make you think.
the setting of the film takes the audience to an era where it seems that life was so much simple. but for the characters, life is complicated and difficult. i suppose it doesn't matter when or where or who -- life is always difficult.
this is a film about having a dream and doing what needs to be done to make the dream a reality. i think it focused more on the struggles but i liked that aspect.
i liked how the characters' flaws and shortcomings are showed in the film. the characters are not idealized versions of every man so it is easy to relate to them.
i liked how in the end, they did not all become who they initially wanted to be and how this could be interpreted in so many ways:
maybe they had other dreams and they pursued those dreams...
maybe they gave up on their dreams but they realized that they could still be happy...
maybe they gave up on their dreams and they resent the fact that they don't have what it takes to make their dreams come true...
i really love how realistic and how insightful this film is. there are a lot of japanese films like this and i think the japanese really excel in this genre.

I thought this movie moved sort of slow at first and I was starting to get bored, but I ended up really liking it at by the end.
I think the part I liked the most was the fact that it wasn't a "perfect" ending with all of them achieving their goals as a painter, writer, etc. Although, it doesn't deny that the boys continue doing what they love on the side too.
I also love how Sho was all scruffy looking. It made me smile.
I have to admit though...Jun ending up with that girl seemed really random to me, but then again, the movie didn't end with a "perfect" ending.
