another ranking so tough on my mind, but I got to do... anyway it's:

1. Ohno (he's no Riida if he doesn't sing solo)
2. Matsumoto Jun (*gasps* i think he makes the harmony and high notes, his solos and lives are awkward though)
3. Ninomiya Kazunari (just because of Natsu and Niji)
4. Sakurai Sho (I don't like most of his raps and he's mostly nasal)
5. Aiba Masaki (he's nasal too and has a noticeable accent)

all in all, Arashi isn't the <s>loveliest</s> best voices in Jpop. But I like their songs, and they could give justice to them. NO OTHER GROUP could sing their songs.

these are all just my opinion. don't turn against me.

1. Ohno - no doubt about that!!!!
2. Aiba - unique, when he sings live still like in the cd, even if it's high, he never loses his tune and pitch.. even if he's already exhausted
3. Sho - he's really good in ballads... specially when you hear him sing Tonight in WestSide Story... Sugoi!!
4. Nino - has a large range, never loses the pitch, although you could sometimes hear exhaustion in his voice
5. Jun - he still needs to vocalize.. or else... he'll lose it

Everybody here voted for Ohno! Just ONE person said Nino has a better voice!!! Hehehehe

Here's my ranking:

1. Ohno
2. Sho-chan
3. Nino
4. Masaki
5. Matsujun

I think they all are great! But Ohno is the best! When he sings.. it gets straight to your heart! Plus he's the best dancing! Great combo!

Ohno has the best voice HANDS DOWN. (Not being biased, btw. Hehehe.)
Second, would be Aiba, despite people saying his voice is nasaly or whatever. I think it's great, and it's 'constant'.
Third would be Nino and Sho. Both sound way better in ballads or less-fast-paced songs.
And last would be MatsuJun; I feel he's singing out of his throat more than his abdomen. I'm no experienced singer but supposedly, your voice would be 10x better when it's coming from your abdomen.

But I love these boys nonetheless.

It's all about preferences. Here's my ranking...
1. Ohno - He's really good and getting better every year.
2. Nino - He has a great tone, except for when he sings off key.
3. Aiba - I like his husky voice but there is a fun and play quality to his voice.
4. Sho - Singing... he's okay and sings in tune. He is great at his specialty and that's rapping.
5. Matsujun - He's moving away from the nasally sound, and he's actually gotten better.

many people have this exact order, but i'll still put my two-cents in

1. ohno - no competition here. this boy has the rare ability to dance and sing at the same time and be awesome in both. he's one of the few who sound exactly like the recording (if not better), and i've actually never heard him sing off key - ever. he's so consistent with his voice, and also has a nice tone
2. nino - granted, he can sing off key at times, but for the most part, this guy's voice makes my heart beat faster his voice is always nice to listen to and matches the emotion of his solo songs, and (i'm not sure about this part) i think he sings the harmony parts as well (which is harder than singing the melody line). nino's range is pretty impressive, since he can go higher than most guys.
3 and 4 (tied). aiba - i'm actually a fan of his unique, husky tone (it grew on me), and i have to admit, he's also a pretty consistent singer.
sho - his deep voice is his strong part (along with his rap), and is also pretty consistent. but he isn't as varied in tone and range as ohno and nino
5. jun - don't be hatin', but i can't stand the whininess of his voice. i think you can really tell in the shukudai episode when arashi was blindfolded and jun was singing by himself. i have watched many versions of "love so sweet" and "we can make it" and others, and jun's solos are rarely on key. (remember, it's just a personal preference)

Of course Ohno is #1! I feel like I don't even have to explain why. His voice is just purely amazing.
2. Nino
I love to listen Nino's solos. His voice is somehow calming. And yes, sometimes he sings off key but when he doesn't, I really love his voice ♥
3. Aiba
Aiba has a really unique voice and I like it It's playful and his solos are great,
4. Sho
Sho's rapping is of course great but compared to Ohno/Nino/Aiba I think his singing voice isn't as good as their.
5. Matsujun

1. Ohno! Like most everyone else here, I think he's got the best voice. It just got that sort of adaptability, and is the most perfect pop music voice like....everrrrrr. Plus the first time I watched a vid of their cons, I thought he was totally lip synching, cuz it was so good. But then he did this little bit which was different to the recorded version, and my jaw just dropped. How can he dance AND sing without running out of breath?!?! The world shall never know

After Ohno, I really can't put the others in order of 2nd to 4th.
Sho has this rap voice which is so different to any other rapper I've ever heard...I'll admit he doesn't have such a large range as the others, but then again, he's absolutely awesome at what he does do.
Aiba...at first I didn't really like his voice. But then it totally grew on me!! Now I love its unique sound...its like...gah. Hard to describe, ne? But pure brilliance
Nino has this great ballad voice, and he can sing such a large range!
Jun would be probably last on my list, but it doesn't mean I don't like his voice. At first I was quite shocked to hear it...so nasally compared to his speaking voice! But when you listen to Arashi's harmonys, it really ties in well with the others! So...he's not the best singer out of them in my opinion (pitch problems sometimes ) but still great

I just can't badmouth any of the boys, really.

Of course my ranking is the same as most of your answers... which makes it really boring. I wonder how come 90% of fans think the same (at least about first, second, and fifth place). If the question is about acting skills answers differ a lot more than here - I wonder why? Isn't that as easy to objectively rank as singing skills? Weird.

2.Nino (this is just killing me, 'cause he's least favorite member for me - sorry ninofans [I still like him though] - and i have to put him so high in his ranking, grrr)

4. Aiba (objectively 4th place, but personally i can put him on second, and sometimes (depends on a song) even on first one. Jun is my favorite member, so it's not about being in love or antyhing. It's just I always had this weakness for weird, funny voices, easily recognized after few tones)

5. Jun (just to protect Jun a little bit - I really think that he sounds great in La famillia, propably beacuse he's more talking than singing, but it's nothing bad. This techinque is called "melorecitation" (greek mélos ‘part of melody" + latin recitatio "reading aloud"), and is very popular for example in Poland. I wouldn't mind if he melorecitates more often. But I DO LIKE his whining voice anyway)

The thing I like about Arashi is that all five of them have different voices and you can easily tell who's singing right now, even if you're only occasionally listening to them. Their voices really work well together, which isn't so easy, with so many differences beetwen them. So I wouldn't like any of them to stop singing, even my beloved but whining, screaming and out of tune Jun.

ps. Ok, now when I think about it Aiba has to be definitely before Sho. I don't wanna edit my ranking now, because well, it doesn't change my conlusion.

I've never heard him sing out of tune, and he has some amazing riffs sometimes. Plus everyone just seems to agree that he's the best singer. haha.

I think he sings pretty well, but sometimes he's out of tune. Niji was amazing, though.

I love the texture of his voice, but i notice he sings out of tune. ^^;

Sings out of tune alot, and iono. His performing cracks me up. He's good at yelling "COME ON EVERBODY" etc to the crowd, though. Yeah, and his voice kinda sets my teeth on edge.
