I have mixed feelings of this one. I must admit that I like the song way better than any single from 2007 (Love so sweet, Happiness, We can make it..). The melody of the beginning of the song is oh so 80s. I like Ohno's parts of the song. As for rest.. I cannot even remember them whistle

Except Sho's rap part. I like it after the stupid Step and Go beginning.

But the PV.. If the song sounds like 80s the PV is oh so CHEAP!
It pretty much looks like a fanvid done in few minutes. I wonder if Johnny is currently broke or something..

I liked the PV to a point, but I wish it would have been a little more....complex I guess. The PV almost reminded me a bit of A Day In Our Life, though. Am I the only one who thought of it?

I'm still trying to shoot their stylist though. Isn't there a point when an outfit can look too ridiculous??*cough*Nino's*cough*

I guess they had to find something yellow for Nino to wear XD So they took the first thing they had and clipped together a piece of yellow cloth lol.

I liked the PV even though it is kind of plain. But it's very much like their CD album cover so I really don't mind. It might've been a bit more interesting if it was as hum...more complete (?) as their other pvs (sakura sake, naisu na kokoroiki...etc) But closeups in this one are really nice lol. Heart

Step 'n' Go is certainly one of the more unique Arashi singles to date being that it steps away from the current day pop into a 80's pop paradise XD I at first didn't really like this song, but after I listened to it a few more times I was ready to slap myself upside the head with something because I didn't realize how amazing it is.

The PV on the other hand, I still have mixed feelings over. I love the slow motion close ups and vibrant colors, but it's very plain when compared to a lot of the other Arashi PV's. ((A Day in our Life did come to mind while watching this PV though like tinkchick555 mentioned)) I don't really know what I was expecting the PV of this song to look like, but it wasn't what was produced. I like the video, I just don't -love- it. Also, like Lulish the PV is a lot like the single cover which I also find to be very plain.

And yes, Nino's stylist needs to be shot multiple times for giving him that curtain-cutout, lemon-colored cape.

it may have looked simpler than their previous PVs, but i think i kinda like it. i had just came back from a *very* tiring fencing lesson when my housemate suddenly called me and showed me the PV. since i was sooo exhausted, being suddenly greeted at home by their new PV made me feel really happy~~ so i got a very good 1st impression on the PV big grin

i didn't really have any expectation before actually seeing the PV, so i thought it was quite ok. the slow motion thingy was quite catchy, in my opinion. it's just that... i got tired looking at matsujun.. that diva! hahaha!!

I actually like the simplicity in the PV. I get the feeling that the PV is depending solely on the Arashi members skills and good looks. I also get the feeling that they want the viewers to concentrate only on the members' and the song. big grin

I don't get the yellow thingy Nino's wearing, but my sister says it's a cute outift and he looks good in it. confused

I'm not a not a fashion guru nor do I live in Japan, so I wouldn't know.
[edit] I just noticed that during the rap, Nino was wearing the yellow thingy around waist and it looks better than when it was on his shoulders. Why didn't they just stick to that? WTH

I dont think it's bad at all...I LOVE THE 80'S!

im a 80's baby born on 1981 so its my kind of music...

and I like the Clothes too....i dont see nothing wrong with it.....

they were trying sumthing new which is nothing wrong Heart

I liked the PV and the song so i give it a score of 8

their singing is getting WAY better too!

OH! Did anyone see Nino's Famous lil dance cute! Wohoo!

i love the song~ it's beat and rhythm is catchy and especially sho's rap.

i like the pv for its simplicity with its white background and each of the members wearing bright coloured clothes so that the main attraction are the boys themselves singing their song.. smile

the slow motion parts are pretty cool too, like aiba's backflip =) and the close ups are gorgeous, though after a while, it does get monotonous. LOL

i'm quite disappointed that there wasn't any any dance routine to this song. i had kind of imagine that there would be. confused

instead it's just them mostly posing, spinning around in slow motion.

and yes, i agree with LLemonlime that Nino's stylist deserves to be shot multiple times XD

Who doesn't love Arashi in slow-motion?
I personally thought this PV was nice :]
But Nino's little yellow cape thing kinda bothered me....-.-l||

I thought the video was beautiful . smile

But it seems a little cheesy to read the text flashing on the screen, but that's nothing compared to some of their other outfits (ex: bright pink tie dye suits for live performances of kitto daijoubu).

I'm so glad that this video is so simple and clean. The song didn't really appeal to me at first when i heard it on their radio shows, but I can say it's growing on me now, much thanks to the video.

That cape thing, is it actually a sweater that Nino's wearing in a weird way? I think I saw buttons and sleeves.

Nevermind, maybe I'm just imagining sleeves. That thing was distracting from Nino's lovely close ups.

And I thought I was the only one who was confused with Nino's costume in the PV. Why the stylist added the cape to Nino's psychedelic shirt was beyond me but it totally put me off.

The good thing about the PV is that we get a lot of slow shots of the guys, especially with their close ups. And of course, Jun shows a little tummy when he twirled. Is it me or is he working out? It kind of looked tight. Haha, I think my eyes were glued to the monitor the entire time.

Totally loved Sho's rap part. A little like We Can Make It, even some of his actions, but it's pretty long and he gets a lot of screentime.

I have to agree that the song's music is a little 80's, 70's even and also with their costumes. But the slow mo really did it in for me.

Four thumbs up? Should I lend you 2 of mine? I agree with you, the slow mo was lovely, it gave me extra time to stare at the boys.

Especially stared at Jun's abs and Sho's very cute close ups during his rap.

i didn't like the song at first, but it eventually grew on me due to its catchiness.

i'm neutral towards the PV, but...i felt it was more of a united benettons ad/adidas ad more than a pv. at some point, it reminded me of the we can make it pv with the colourfulness, and the boys just standing in a white backdrop singing together..
