hehehhehe yah those fight was os hillarious.. riidaa is so cute acting like he's done nothing after making his senpai angry.. i like those faces that he make when nakai chase him in the recording set.. it was totally funny.. utaban with arashi is the best

kekeke... for me, i just love the way Taka-san and Oh-chan hold each other around the waist whenever the fight starts... Oh-chan looks totally adorable like a little boy seeking protection from his daddy... kyaaa!!!! i think all his fans wld gladly form a wall to protect him from Nakai sempai!! big grin

I don't understand why they need to fight but they are certainly hilarious. i love the utaban episode where nakai kun try to be as mature as he can by being patience on all ohchan remark but at the end he just blew off.

I can't wait the sub 4 the latest utaban. It will be a blast, with ohchan have so many projects recently

ok, for those who saw the latest utaban, i pm change417 some time ago asking for her translation for the part of ohno and hakai's fight and here it is (i copied and pasted it direct from her reply m to me):

As for Ohno vs Nakai part...
Nakai: Hey Ishibashi, you should tell Ohno what to say. Because without that (referring to the fights), I'll be troubled/ at a loss. What do you think, Ohno?
Ohno: Your timing is bad today
*Fights*
Nakai: It's your timing! Then he says something about taking off his hat and that if Ohno does that, the show cannot be ON AIR. (If I am not wrong Nakai shaves his hair (not bald though) for a new movie so I guess he cannot show his new hairstyle yet or something...)
Ohno: That movie won't sell anyway
*Fights*
Nakai: There is no way I will fail (white)
Ohno: SMAP first's ogeke movie
*Ohno made a mistake here so Nakai couldn't get angry*
Nakai: *laughing* It's ogoke
(Ah, I don't know what ogoke means XD)
Jun: Are you sure you will be okay for your drama? (since he NG-ed here...)
Ohno: It's been a long time since I did a drama (Bluish-white)

I have to believe that Nakai loves Ohno dearly in order to be able to "fight" like they do. For example, when their fight doesn't go exactly the way they planned it and they just start giggling or they whisper things to each other and start cracking up. Whenever I see that, I think, "These two must have a really good relationship if they can pretend to be combative and rude." It's nice to see sempai and kohai have a good bond. Heart

Can't wait for the latest guesting of ARASHI on Utaban because I want to see the latest fight between Ohno and Nakai clapping

i could die laughing because of them. Although I know it's scripted it still excites me, I get excited if whether Nakai can get his hands on Ohno who's being protected by the other host (Ishibashi?) especially when Nakai gets ready to attack Ohno hahaha. Ohno's reaction always make him so cute.

Their fights are always the best part of their episodes. If it wasn't for Ohno VS Nakai, I probably wouldnt watch it as much. it would just be any other interview show! smile

Utaban with Arashi would not be the same without the fighting. I mean I can't even picture Arashi on Utaban just talking without any altercation. What makes Arashi's appearance on Utaban so different and exciting from the other guest is that there is this playfulness of Nakai and Ohno, two leaders of some of the top singing groups in Japan. The day they stop the skit is the day my heart dies a little inside. smile

The latest fight was interesting because it seems they couldn't get the right timing for it. Ohno and Taka-san kept giggling on the side. Hahaha!

It was still funny. But I think nothing beats the one last February 14 (and the ones added in the 21st) with the Ohno-slapping-Nakai. LOL

One time (though it was more of a verbal arguement) that I thought was quite funny was when Ohno called Nakaisan Nakai-chan,
and all the members of Arashi jumped up and held Nakai back while the other host pulled Ohno to safety... Sometimes, though, wouldn't it make more sense for Jun to instigate these fights....especially if he's DoS?

Utaban with Arashi is always interesting ^^ That's why I agree with Nakai's friend who said he [or she, I forgot] wanted to watch Utaban because of Arashi's corner. Nakai seems to be easily pissed off while Riida pissing Nakai with such expression... XD

Nakai: "It's about HIGH and LOW, you know!" XD

It'd have been nice if the fights were spontaneous, but its fun to watch them fighting anyway. But you know, the very very first time Ohno picked a fight must have probably been for real. After that, when they saw the ratings, they must have decided to continue the trend - you know, the first time he says something like "Nakai is so immature" or something after Nakai wants to put Shake Shake instead of letting them sing their new song. (I'm not sure when it is, I realised it myself only after I saw the compilation they'd put up)

Anyway, it makes my day to watch it and I have the episodes in my ipod too!

I'm not sure even the first argument is real tbh. Sometimes they cut the "flashback" clips in such a way that you don't see the whispering and conspiring preceding it. There isn't a fully subbed clip of the first appearance that I know of though, so I could be wrong.

I do love when they blatantly discuss the fact that it's all fake and set up though, or when something goes wrong (Ohno's slips of the tongue). My favourite is when they point out Nakai saying "throw me down, throw me down" and Ohno (inaudibly) responding "Hai" LOL So obediently going along with the sham fighting ^_^
It seems really tiring getting all het up, even if it is pretend. I'm sure the reward is in the viewership though.
