Well, let's see, my maternal grandad was Malay, my maternal grandma's Japanese and my dad's Chinese. Born in Malaysia, studying in the UK. In short I'm a thoroughly well-mixed Asian. lol

This seems interesting, but i see no link in me. And im just so plain boring.. T___T
Im pure Singaporean, 100% chinese SINGAPOREAN.
But people do mistaken me for china or malaysian. Cuz im very white in my skin color & i have malaysian speaking tone due to alot of malaysian at my work place tat i become speaking like them!!?
I guess maybe because my mum's dad is from China & my dad's dad is from malaysia?
Not that it's a surprise, but it's mostly Asians on the forum
Me, I'm less mixed than most people I know, especially considering I'm 3rd/4th generation Canadian. I'm 7/8 Scottish, 1/8 English, but it's all the same island and considering the history I might be more of an equal mix of the two, who knows. I've got the reddish hair and freckles, though, and the curse of burning to a crisp with the slightest amount of sun >< Stupid highland genetics!
100% Chinese, but born in Canada. I can barely speak though, I'm not exactly "Americanized" to the point where I don't seem Chinese at all but you can definitely tell I am NOT born in Hong Kong or China.
It's amazing how Arashi has managed to get such a great diversity of fans even though they are centered in Japan. And I'm surprised how many Canadians there are!
I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada but my parents are from India and migrated here after they got married. Right now I'm living in Australia for graduate studies - no signs of other Arashi fans yet!
I was born and raised in Miami, FL. My dad was born in Cuba and moved to the US as a young teenager, my mom was born in the US but my grandparents are Cuban, so I was definitely raised in a Cuban culture.
For those that don't know, Cuba is a little Spanish-speaking island about 90 miles away from Florida.
I don't have asian blood at all~ that makes me wonder how the hell I got into asian pop culture XD~
To have a mixed blood is very common in Brazil, majorly because of the intense immigration on the beginning of the 20th century.
I was born in São Paulo, Brazil, but my family is majorly italian. My family has lived on the same building since forever. it was built my grandmother's father \o/ Even though everyone is from the same family, their hobby is gossiping about everyone's life.
I also have portuguese and might have a bit of middle east, considering that the area on Portugal that my grandpa's family is from has a lot of Arab influence~mostly from the time when the Iberian Peninsula was ruled by the moors. though we don't know the exactly place in middle east, it's clear on my family's old pics that my grandpa family has middle east blood.
I'm also part native american (brazilian native american, obviously) and have a bit of black. But you wouldn't be able to guess that, because I don't look like those two at all~
i'm half-chinese, half-malay, but am a 100% singaporean at heart a lot of people say i look more like a chinese though i can't speak the language at all -_-;
