Chapter 27
The Jerk is She


"Oh, there's Jenisha!" Aiba raised his hand and was about to scream a 'hello' at the director when Arashi saw her rushed out of the theater upon their arrival.

"Hey, she saw us right?" Aiba frowned and his arm was caught in mid-air when he wasn't able to greet the director.

Nino was still standing there looking confuse and he eventually noticed the weird stares of his bandmates. He raised an eyebrow towards them and pursed his lips as he waited one of them to speak.

"Did something happen?" Sho asked, his expression was written in confusion as well. Nino continue to stare at the exit door and just shrugged his shoulders. He is not really sure what was going on with Jenisha right now but this has a lot something to do with the break-up.

"You can sort that out later." Jun gave him a short slap on the shoulder and gave him an encouraging smirk.

"Ohaayo!" Hideki came rushing towards them and Arashi returned the greeting either with a nod or wave of hands. "Gomen, for today I'll be the one who will discuss some details with you guys."

Ohno shortly frowned at the apologetic assistant director. "Nande? Aren't you suppose to do that?"

"Well, its suppose to be Jenisha-chan, however, she needs to coordinate with the crew. She was ready but she have to rush off, so she made me in charge."

Nino glanced once again at the exit door and poke the inside of his cheek with his tongue.

What the hell is going on Jenisha?

Nino sat down on the floor and wiped his sweats. They have been practicing nonstop for the Kanazawa concert and the first thing that Arashi demanded is to polish their dance steps. He couldn't argue with that because with things that has been happening to him right now, the best thing to do is to drown himself of work.

He couldn't help but to sigh out heavily whenever he has time to think. The break-up issue? He can handle that. He doesn't give much attention about what the media says anyway. His main concern is Jenisha. Their first day in Kanazawa, he was expecting something different from her. Perhaps some hugs or kisses because he did something that will make both of them more open to show their relationship. But it turns out to be the exact opposite. Yesterday, when they saw each other all she did was nod and walked away. Nino knew when she's putting up an act and right now, Jenisha was putting up with the whole professionalism thing. Both of them have so much work to do yesterday that why he wasn't able to confront her because until now, she was making him so confuse. It kind of scare him everytime he can't comprehend what Jenisha was thinking.

"Are you going to set it up tomorrow?"

Nino looked up upon hearing that familiar voice and below the audience section in the theater, Jenisha entered together with one of her staff. He stared at her while she was pointing out some stage settings on their direction and inevitably, their eyes met. He saw her talked to her staff for a couple of minutes before she hastily started walking out of the theater. Nino immediately jumped out of the stage and ran to catch up with her. He won't let her get away again.

Not again Jenisha...

"We have to talk." Nino said the moment he grabbed her arm and pulled her inside on one of the storage rooms.

"I still have to work." Jenisha removed her arm from him and was fidgeting with her clipboard.

"You're entitled for a 15 minute break aren't you?" She shortly looked at him in the eyes and held the door knob. She didn't miss the glare that he casted on her when she's in a hurry to go out.

"Why are you avoiding me?" Nino can't help but to snap at her. She's making him way confuse and insane whenever she's not talking.

"Are you daft? The public knew you just came out of a relationship, its more obvious if they notice you hanging out with me. You yourself told me that the press could speculate that good. What if Rai told them?" The professional look finally shed off and Jenisha's expression conveyed of fear and panic. Nino could feel the anxiety by her heavy breathing but this is not enough for him to understand.

"She's not like that. I know her." He whispered in reply. Somehow, that statement sparked jealousy inside Jenisha but she has to push that away.

"Do you know what you did? This will ru---"

"I know what I did! And what I don't understand is why you're acting this way. You're supppose to be happy right?" Nino's own frustration surfaced in the conversation.

"I didn't ask for that Nino."

"I know you didn't and I would like to give us a shot."

Jenisha looked away from the intense stare of Nino. She wasn't quite sure how to respond to him. The recent events caught her off guard without any decision and its making her so confuse as well.

She heaved a sigh and bit her lip when she felt Nino's hands clasping hers.

"I'm scared...for you, for me. After you broke up with Rai, t-t-they will eventually notice about us and I-I'm scared where that would lead to."

"We've done worse than this. We sneaked out behind everybody's back and we cheated on our own relationship..."

"Remind me that we're such selfish human beings..." She can't help but to retort sarcastically. Nino always have this acid humor in the middle of a serious talk.

"...I have no strings attached with me, that wouldn't be so bad if they will know. Let's make it happen, I have faith in this"

Its unbelievable for her to hear Nino saying those words, like theirs is the perfect love story. Like one of those plots he writes in a song. This is all catching her off guard.

"Are you suggesting that I should break up with Marco as well?"

Nino frowned at that question. Here he is, screaming his heart with his feelings, and the girl who is the reason behind all the crazy things he went through was acting so reluctant.

"If you've decided your feelings for me, that's a yes."

"That's not easy Nino." He closed his eyes and let out another breath of exasperation. They've gone through so much and he can't believe why they're in this mess again.

"Do you think breaking up with Rai was easy?!" Nino's voice intensified as he cannot control the frustration any longer. This is really unbelievable.

"We're not even sure of us!"

Nino stared at her, she felt his hands loosening its grasp on her fingers and just continued staring at her. When Jenisha looked up to him, she saw the hurt in his eyes and she knew she wouldn't be able to take the words back.

"Wow..." Nino stepped away from her. "...I'm so stupid to believe that you're serious about this."

"N-Nino..." Jenisha reached out to him but Nino just moved further away and went out of the stock room.

She just stood there inside the small suffocating storage room not moving an inch. She broke his heart twice. Therefore she's the jerk in their 'supposed love story.'

Chapter 28
The Jerk is She (pt.2)



It was a very a-hole thing to do!

That was the first thought that came through her mind after Nino left her. Its been two days and the Kanazawa concert has been the gloomiest event for both of them. The atmosphere was too much. Everybody has been affected no matter how civil they were in interacting with each other. Arashi knew what was going on, though Nino did not tell them a single thing and the whole crew thought that he still can't cope from the famous break-up of J-pop history.

They're on their way to Niigata and she's a loner sitting on the crew's tourbus instead of Arashi's where she normally would take shots of them fooling around and stealing some moments with Nino. Right now, Jenisha is silently just staring into the road after the tiring Kanazawa concert with nothing but guilt, regret, and misery.

"Anou...Jenisha-san." One of the make-up artists nudged her lightly from her seat.

"Hmm?" She replied without looking up. "We're here now." That's the time that she had fully examined the surroundings. Spacing out has been her hobby for the past two days and though she doesn't want her personal life to interfere with her work, it still manifest in her action.

It was an irrational move on her part. The first time, she was the one who initiated the break-up but then again, she was the one who desperately wanted him back. This second time around, she turned him down while he was screaming out his feelings for her. She blew it big time. The damage that was done is much worse since other people has been involved and got hurt.

It was a complete selfishness on her part. Jenisha initially felt scared when Nino made a huge move just to make their relationship open. He made a sacrifice to risk his image and his career, and Jenisha got scared that she wouldn't be able to do the same thing. She got scared doing the same risk on her career and on her life. Jenisha loves the adventure that she's getting from their secret relationship. Its suppose to be temporary from the start, and she've always assume that things would end even if they wanted it to continue and when Nino suddenly made a big move to by breaking up with Rai, she doesn't know what to do. Though she knew from the start about the consequences, when that moment Nino finally made a move, it caught her off guard and she left him face the consequences alone.

Jenisha glanced towards the five huge tour buses that were now parked infront of the hotel. The second black bus is for Arashi and people started to go out from it and before the idols appear, she immediately rushed inside the hotel to roam around. By the time she reached the front desk, she saw the view of the ocean just outside the hotel's coffee shop.

I guess it would not hurt to be missing in action for a few minutes.

And this time she's alone.

Normally her missing-in-action moments as a director would involve sneaking with Nino and right now, Jenisha savored the moist and salty breeze of the ocean barefooted and alone. The moment her toes felt the cool texture of the water, she can't help but to remember all of it and feel miserable once again.

I think I can quit right at this point.

She bit her lips to resist the urge to cry as she slumped down into the dark brown sand.



"Nino! We have a photoshoot in the next couple of ho---" Ohno's voice trailed off when he ran beside Nino. He saw his bandmate staring at the ocean view infront of the huge glass window and before he could ask Nino, Ohno already saw their director near the shore sitting on the sand and staring as well into the vastness of the ocean.

"Uhhh...." Ohno casted his stare back into his bandmate who just continued staring at the director. The Arashi leader can't help but to bit his lip and slowly scratched his head to convey his awkwardness. He doesn't know what to say regarding this kind of circumstances since his experience with relationships are kind of limited.

"Anou sa...."

"Riida let's get going, that An-An phot---" Jun started to approach them however, he slightly stopped when he noticed Nino and understood the situation the moment he saw Jenisha at the shore.

Oh well...he can deal with this one later. Jun thought after pondering some other words that he can say to his bandmate. "Ni~no~chan!"

Nino snapped out of his own thoughts and gave Jun a curious look. "Did you just...sing-song my name?"

"Eh?" Jun raised his eyebrow at the reaction. "You sound so gay." Nino said. "EH?!" The youngest can't help but rolled his eyes towards him. Here he is, with a broken heart but his mouth is still as sharp and sarcastic as ever.

"Maybe you mean, sing-sung." Ohno added.

"Huh?" Jun's raised eyebrow turned to Ohno. Now, the subject turned into a complete nonsense shift. "That sounds so wrong to me." Nino muttered.

"Chotto, chotto." Jun, now, raised both of his hands before Ohno could retaliate with another weird comment. "An-An shoot, now." He finally said to Nino and this brought reality back into his bandmate's head.

"Uh...hai!" Ohno smiled thinly and slapped Nino on the shoulders as all of them rushed with their other friends.

At least, pain can be diverted into something nonsensical. At least, pain can lessen within a few seconds.

Chapter 29
To The Rescue



"This is not healthy anymore." Sho muttered after he saw Nino nonchalantly nodded towards a very stiff and monotonous Jenisha who was giving him some instructions. Compared from the other Arashi members, Nino's talk with the director lasted only for 2 minutes. Good thing Nino is that smart to process everything in less than a minute.

Sho was left shaking his head the moment the two finished their 'over professional' conversation.

"Its too heavy." Aiba whispered when he stood beside Sho. The newscaster glanced over to the taller Arashi who was carrying two pieces of luggage. "Why don't you put it down then if its heavy?" Sho said and Aiba rolled his eyes. "I'm not talking about Matsujun's make-up bags." He successfully settled the bags on the floor and dusted off his pants before he leaned closer to Sho and whispered once again, "Nino-kun and Jenisha."

"We have to talk to Nino regarding this. Well, they've been like that after Nino's break-up." Sho glanced over to Nino who was huddled in a corner with that poker face reading his script for a future drama while Aiba scratched his head processing his own thoughts.

"Its confusing ne?" The two older Arashi turned their heads toward Matsujun. "Hai." Aiba nodded his head in approval with his teeth slowly nimbling on his lower lip.

"There should be some happy moments going between them, now that some factors have been eliminated." Sho tilted his head to the side and frowned at what Jun said.

"You made it sound like it was from a video game."

"Well, this is suppose to be Nino's game plan right? And since he's a game otaku, I'm just saying things according to his language." Sho sighed with the youngest's eccentricity and it was Aiba's turn to frown when he's not getting what the conversation is all about.

"...but obviously its not happening." All three heads stared at their leader who approached them after he finished doing some choreography.

"He's keeping it all to himself." Sho muttered.

"Since Nino is not telling us, we have to force our way in." Ohno said with conviction.

"Ne...Riida, there's a fire in your eyes when you said that!" Aiba shortly clapped his hands and beamed at him.

"Hontou?! I'm preparing for my butai! Haha!" Ohno's serious expression turned into a full grin and high-fived with Aiba and Matsujun can't help but to whack them on the head.

"But seriously, how do we force our way in?" Sho asked. "Leave it to me." Ohno tapped Sho on the back and ran to grab something out of his backpack.

"Nino!!!" Ohno shrieked and held out a bottle of their favorite Korean wine. "Let's get drunk as hell!"

"Je~ni~sha-chan!" Jenisha turned her head when she heard her name being musically called. She was in the middle of her coffee break at the theater's cafeteria when her name was being sing-sung by none other than Matsujun.

She slightly frowned at him when the idol was strutting his stuff towards her with an odd smile on his face. Singing her name was odd enough and when she saw the other three Arashi walking to her direction, she felt really weird.

"Hm? Nande?" Jenisha asked as the four Arashi finally crowded into her.

"Let's have a chat." Sho grinned at her. "What about?" She frowned even more.

"Can we now?" Aiba asked Sho excitedly and when Sho nodded, he let out a gleeful "Yay!" He and Sho went on each of her side while Ohno and Jun went to stand in front of her.

Jenisha stood up from her seat and she's sensing that the boys are up to no good.

"Oi, what evil plans are you up to?"

"Nothing." Jun smiled even wider then counted to three. "Se, no!"

"Hey!!! H-hey!" Jenisha started shrieking when Sho and Aiba clutched both of her arms and then Ohno and Jun lifted her feet. They started carrying the director all the way to the lobby.

"O-oi!!!! What the hell are you doing?!!" She continue screaming but the boys wouldn't listen. The staff who witnessed their director being carried by the idols just laughed it off.

"I will not forgive you for doing this!!!! Put me down! Aaarghh!!!" She kept on struggling against the boys' grasp and her face changed into a deep shade of crimson as the idols just sniggered as they carry her.

"Put me down now!!!! I can't believe you're doing this!" Jenisha shouted in a bossy mode and the boys finally settled her on the floor. She scanned the surroundings and realized that she was brought inside the dance rehearsal room. She noticed Ohno going back to their direction after he locked the door.

"What is this about?!" Jenisha dusted her jeans and fixed her hair, before she crossed her arms infront of the idols.

"Sumimasen, there is no other way to talk to you privately." Aiba said and gave her a peace sign.

"Huh? What do you want to talk about that you have the urge to carry me all the way here?"

"First, that was fun. Second, you would do all possible means to avoid this particular topic, that's why we have to force you here to have a close-door discussion." Jun explained and Jenisha just stared at him confused.

"What topic? Don't kill me with suspense here, I was alre---"

"Nino." All four of them answered in unison and that made Jenisha to shut up.

The moment she heard Nino's name she just stared back at the boys and slumped back into the floor.

"We knew what happened between you and Nino after the break-up." It was Ohno who decided to start the conversation after a long silence.

Days of being quiet is finally over, she knew that the boys will do something about this issue and this is actually what she feared.

"So, he finally told you about it."

"Not until we forced him to." Jun said and Jenisha just heaved out a sigh.

"Okay." She looked up to them. "Say what you want to say. I know I'm to blame here."

"We know. But you can defend yourself if you want to." Sho crossed his arms staring back at her and pressed his lips together.

"Are we in a mock trial or something?" Jenisha tried to humor things up, apparently the boys just stared at back at her with no reaction.

She's really in a negative position right now.

"Why?" It was Aiba's simple question and it all boiled down to the confusing and complicated reasoning that Jenisha had on her head.

"Why do I have to explain this? You can just blame me. It's my entire fault."

"We want to hear your side even though we clearly know whose fault was it." Sho crouched down in front of her. Jenisha was brought back to the familiar scene where the four Arashi crowded over her while she was barefooted sitting on the floor. That was the day when she was confronted by Ohno, Matsujun, Sho and Aiba about Nino and the director's not-so-secret relationship.

"We still want to give you some considerations." It was Matsujun who lightly tapped her on the shoulder and urged her to speak. She just slightly glared at the cocky tone of the youngest Arashi looking extremely cool and quite cheery with her being emotionally tortured by them.

"Hmm...anou...I got scared when he broke up with Rai."

"Huh?!" Came out a reply of surprise from the idols.

"Cho-chotto, scared? It should you be what you wanted right? I mean, you love Nino right?"

Jenisha sighed once again. She's hearing the same questions that Nino asked the day they broke up but she still can't find a proper reasonable answer to say.

"I didn't ask him to do that." She replied.

"What a shame..." Ohno slightly shook his head and stared at her. "He did that to make your relationship out in the open. So that both of you won't have to hide and yet you don't seem to realize how hard that was for him." Jenisha avoided Riida's gaze and focused on her feet. It's very rare for Ohno to be serious and whenever he is, his words hit straight to the target.

"Don't you think we're just getting carried away with this? I-I mean, because we always see each other..." Jenisha responded almost in a whisper.

"Why the hell are you questioning this right now? You told me before, you're in this together." Sho said to her, his voice raised a bit due to frustration and Jun tapped him on the shoulder to make him calm down.

"I know this is mean...but are you just playing with him? Its not good." Jun who calmed Sho, but aggravated Jenisha's emotional torture.

"No I'm not! I was sincere the whole time we were together!" Jenisha exclaimed and was trying so hard to fight her tears.

"Jun-kun! That's not good either!" Aiba scolded the youngest and Matsujun just let out a soft "gomen."

"Umm...Jeni-chan...why didn't you like Nino breaking up with Rai?"

"Its...I-I've got mixed feelings about it...it took me by surprise...he didn't tell me that he would break up with Rai."

"Well apparently, he has to. He doesn't love the girl anymore why continue hurting her?" Sho replied. Jenisha is sinking low with all of Arashi's argument. They really stick with their friend no matter what. She cannot blame them though. The first time they broke up, she was the one who desperately want him back and now she turned him down once again.

"So much for being fickle minded, you're a woman after all." Jun said.

Jenisha squinted her eyes towards Matsujun when she heard it. "Hey....that was so sexist"

Jun just let out a thin smile and shrugged. "Can't help it if you're acting like this. This is really getting way out of hand, its so disappointing of you that you're behaving like this when Nino already made up his mind. We thought you had your decision right from the start."

"Okay, okay... I got one question." Ohno stood up from the folding chair and crouched down in front of her. "Do you feel so intensely jealous when you see him with Rai?" Jenisha nodded to Riida not sure where his questions would lead to.

"Another question..." Aiba butted in. "Do you love him?"

She slightly frown before answering. "I...I do care for him."

"No, that won't suffice." Sho interrupted as well and repeated Aiba's question. "Do you love him?"

"I-I guess i do."

"What's stopping you then?" Ohno asked softly.

"His career, my career, arashi, the media..."

"He broke up with Rai already, if you're worried about him having a relationship with you then Johnny's doesn't interfere with an idol's love life." Jun said.

"I don't believe that, and the fact that we're still working together makes it more dangerous." Jenisha answered. "The break up is such a big issue and the moment that he's seeing other girls, they would question how come it was so soon. They're good at speculating."

Aiba crossed his arms and think thoughtfully. "Now, are you referring to his image of being a boy-next-door that will be tampered because he's a cheater? So what? Those will remain as speculations they won't have proof." He lightly patted Jenisha on the head for encouragement.

"You've done worse than this. You sneaked out behind everybody's back and now that nino is free, it wouldn't be so wrong right?" Jun said as a sign of another encouragement.

God they think alike! Jenisha sighed. Arashi always do this to her. At first they torment her with all kinds of things but in the end they'll be very supportive.

"With this talk, what do you want get out of this?" She asked the boys.

"Nothing, we just want to hear your side that's all." Sho replied.

"And...hopefully everything will be okay."

"I hope so too...but getting us together will not likely to happen."

Aiba smiled at her and gave her another pat. "Who knows?"

"Would you think he wants me back after I shoved him away?" She asked them one more time and Arashi just stared at her completely clueless.

Chapter 30
What-Ifs


It was exhausting...those guys...

Jenisha thought while she clutched her clipboard on her armpit and massaged her neck. She went inside her hotel room to rest. Her eyes hurt a bit because she kept controlling herself not to cry infront of the idols and as well as to her crew and she felt so devastated that everytime she see something that reminds her of Nino, she felt like crying. Jenisha hates it when she's being a total sap.

The rest of Arashi drained all of her energy because of the "close-door discussion" a.k.a "let's-emotionally-torture-jenisha", but at the same time she felt a little relieved because she was able to share her feelings. In the middle of the tour she doesn't have any of her close friends beside her which she can share her thoughts, e-mails were the only solution but it does not provide any physical comfort. At least Arashi made it a bit more comforting even it was more of an intent to torment her.

"Yosh..." She let herself fall to her waterbed and stared at the ceiling.

"This is a lot more tiring than I thought." She kept muttering to herself and her hand began to search for the remote control and turned on the television. Jenisha ignored the sound of people hogging at something on the background and a reporter talking at the same time on the t.v. while she was continuously staring at the ceiling.

"Kazunari Ninomiya of the renowned j-pop band Arashi, has kept his silence after the break-up with model girlfriend Sinichi Rai. Their break-up is considered to be the one of the biggest celebrity controversy of the year, the whole management...."

The blank look that she was giving her ceiling turned into a frown the moment she heard the news. She immediately bolted right up from the bed and focused her gaze on the tv screen as it zoomed in to a video of reporters throwing different questions at the same time to Nino who has his face constantly being flashed by loads of cameras.

"...did not let out an official announcement regarding the issue. The media, however, can't keep quiet anymore, They were able to caught up with Arashi after a promotional program in Tokyo and boldly asked Nino about his side of the story. As expected, the idol preferred to continue with the silence."

Jenisha gaped at the screen as Nino was being whisked away by their bodyguards and the rest of Arashi protected him as well. The bodyguards weren't there before since Johnny's rules were established, however, due to the issue the necessity to have a couple of security was given.

After the news finished, she turned it off and heaved out a sigh. She felt bad than ever and slumped down back to bed.

"If this relationship did not occur from the start, this wouldn't be happening to us... to him..."

Jenisha stared off into space thinking what would happen if she had refused...

"I thought you want to talk."

Nino sighed and scratched his head.

"Well in that case, let me start. That was so kind of you to say that I should forget about what happened last night." Jenisha said. Her chest was starting to pound inside her as of the moment.

"I just want to make it normal between us. So that you won't feel unease working with me and vice versa."

"How can I actually forget about last night when you were the most amazi-"

Dammit! I can't say that to him!

Nino blinked his eyes when Jenisha cut her words off. His breathing stopped for a couple of seconds when assumptions start to form inside his head regarding what she was about to say.

I am the most amazing...? at what? His mind race with thoughts.

"When you said it so amazingly blunt straight into my face. Do you think that was too easy? I was expecting something, like 'sorry' or something proper..."

"Well I never expected that it would turn out this way. I never expected that the girl I had s** with last night would be our director the next day." Nino uttered.

"So do I. Did you think I planned this out?"

"A lot of girls would."

Jenisha's eyes squinted the moment she heard that from Nino and took a deep breath to calm herself but to no success, she was already pissed off.

Nino saw the reaction on Jenisha's face and instantly thought of a way to calm her down.

"The coincidences overwhelmed me so it cros-"

"You're such an arrogant, conceited, egotistic, pompous a** bastard! From those behaviors, I prefer you drunk than your normal self!"

Nino was now staring at Jenisha in a different way that made her stop in the middle of her ranting.

"You prefer me what?"

"I prefer you drunk." Jenisha repeated. She remembered that kind of stare. The way Nino was looking at her right now was just exactly the same when he was staring at her last night.

"Now. Don't stare at me like that, it won't work." Jenisha successfully pushed that feeling away when she remembered how pissed she was before the dinner. She won't fall for the trap after he confronted her to forget all about it. She's not going to waste another night with a conceited idol.

"Just like what you said at the hall, let's forget about what happened. I'm your director, nothing more."

Nino immediately changed his expression and stood up. He realized that she's right and they just need to normalize things between them. He was the first one who specifically told her to forget about the whole thing.

"You're right, I'm sorry...but let's work together nicely okay?" Nino smiled at her and extended his hand. "Yep. We're truce." She accepted it and shook his hand as a deal.

"Hai."

"Now, goodnight and get out of my room. See you tomorrow for the meeting at 8:00 am."

"Okay...goodnight!" Nino saluted her before he closed the door of her room.


Jenisha sighed once more when she thought of what should have happened that night.

"I should have not let my feelings dominated me...but its too late for what ifs anyway..."

"What's done is done."

"The theater have filled up?" Jenisha entered the control room and peeked on the window to look at the stage's set-up.

"Yup. Its crazy down there." Her director assistant said. She went around the room to check if all the cameras were set-up to get the view that they wanted for this part of the concert.

"I'll be visiting the idols before they start and we have 30 minutes to ready everything." Jenisha took one last look below the crowd that was already cheering. "You know the drill."

"Yup. We'll let everything dark to start the big show." The assistant grinned at her before the director went out of the control room.

Jenisha jogged all the way down from the control room to the backstage to be able to talk to the boys before performing. Its for her own peace of mind everytime she can have a few minutes of talk with Arashi, just to make sure everything's okay and just to get a chance to see how Nino is doing. She pushed the large door that leads to the backstage and saw every member of the crew and the staff scampering around the area to finalize everything for tonight's concert. She was giving them a smile or a tap of encouragement and thanking them as well for the hard work as she made her way to the dressing room.

"Jeni-chan!" Ohno waved towards him the moment she entered Arashi's dressing room. The boys were already having their final touch for their make-up and some adjustments for the costumes were finished as well.

"Riida." Jenisha roamed around him to examine his costume. "Hmm...something edible huh?" She chuckled while touching the metallic melon-colored jumpsuit that Arashi was wearing for the opening number.

"Yep, ready for them to eat." Ohno grinned at her and patted her head. "You okay now?" He softly asked.

She smiled thinly and glanced at Nino, "No, but I can manage." Jenisha just sighed and diverted his attention back to Ohno who was struggling with his shirt inside the jumpsuit.

"Nande? Its tight?" She asked him.

"No, the material gets a bit sticky when you're starting to sweat."

"Your costumes are always a challenge ne?" She chuckled and glanced around the busy room.

"Minna!" One of the crew entered the dressing room to make the countdown. "Twenty minutes before we start."

"Yosh!!!" Sho came shouting inside the room. "Let's do our best."

"Goodluck guys." Jenisha grinned at everyone. "...and congratulations in advance." The start of the concert is always her favorite part because they get to pump up each other's energy and everyone get so excited to make the show the best.

"Come on, let's pray for a good show!" Jun encouraged everyone to gather in a circle, just like he always do before the show.

Jenisha suddenly felt a sharp pull by Aiba and the next thing she knew, she was dragged just beside where Nino was standing. She shortly glared at him for putting her in a very awkward position. She felt Nino stiffened and Jenisha knew that he gave Aiba the piercing look as well when Aiba intentionally gave Nino a little push towards Jenisha.

Everyone started to reach each other's hands as a signal to start the prayer and Jenisha's heart hammered madly inside her chest as their skin touched once again.

Nino clasped her hand.

The touch may have been awkward but it was firm, and it gave them both the impression that they don't want to let go.
