How Long Have You Been in Arashi's Fandom?

This is the first time for me writing a topic, and I hope that its right place is here.

Please let me know if there's some changes happened here, ok? Like removing this to another place...etc. smile

Hehe, I'm just curious and I want to know how long have you been in Arashi's fandom? Since when? and what's the first thing that you watched out of their stuff: PVs/shows/dramas...etc.

For me, I've started the fandom for 7 months so far (this is my 8th), since this February, when I was still studying at my college. The first thing that I've watched for them was "Step and Go" PV. For the dramas, the first one was "Maou"

Now, what about you? talk about yourselves a little and bring back some memories wink

i found out about Arashi around HYD1...lets just say i fell in love with Jun for a while and researched him. to my surprise he was part of a boy band. He started out as my favorite but the moment i heard Ohno sing, that was the end of me...sigh...

i was watching gokusen cause it had oguri shun in it. then i thought that sawada was hot. so i searched him up and i found out that he was in a boy band. i started listening to teir songs. and i fell in love with all of them

My friend recommended to me like...january 2009 only. At first i like truth and believe but nothing more. However, when i came across Kumori Nochi Kesai by Ohno, i kinda look up to him. I started looking up and found out he is in arashi, the 1 who sang truth and believe..haha. I started to become a fan then, looking back all their songs, loving almsot all of them

I only liked kat-tun in the beginning xD So I watched Jin vs. Jun on youtube, loved it and began searching for Arashi.
I'm a Arashi fan for a year or so now and still love them!! You can see big differences between Arashi and other JE groups, especially in their interaction. Kat-tun seriously has no member ai xD

Probably less than a month. Right after I listened to truth, I thought that this group had my kind of music. :d. Then I went ahead and started watching DnA, GnA, AnS, TSD, and their appearances on Utaban<3. Gotta love how Leader breaks into a fight with Nakai every episode :d.

I found out about Arashi in March after watching Maou so that should be about half a month already

Well ive been watching their dramas for more than a year but ive actually been a hardcore arashi for for about a full year now. And its been a great year. lol

well, I used to like kat-tun too. but yes, comparing them (and other JEs) with Arashi, Arashi are very different among them!

I saw a little bit of Aiba in Mukudono with Nagase Tomoya around early 2005, but I didn't pay much attention to Aiba nor knew about ARASHI at that time. Then I watched HYD1 (2005) & found out that the theme song is sung by Jun's group ARASHI, so I looked up the song & PV, but thought they were all ugly. Then I watched Stand Up! because of Yamapi, but Nino stole my Heart

, & I learned that ARASHI sang the theme song for Stand Up!, & the rest is history. I've been a fan since late 2005. big grin

I like NEWS & KAT-TUN too, & a little Kanjani8, but ARASHI is my ichiban JE group. Heart

I love Arashi since I knew about them after I watched HYD.
So, it's about 4 years now I love them.

The first thing I ever saw with any of them in it was the Honey and Clover movie and that has Sho in it but it wasn't untill I watched Maou about 8 months later that I went "ak;ldhf;aowifhkjm OMG WHO PLAYS THE LAWER?!! He's amazing!!!" and my best friend looked up the opening song on youtube (oh the mighty youtube!) that my fandom was really born.
So I put myself in the 4-5 or less category, cause I have only really been actively aware of them for about 3 months...

I am still obsessed with Truth. Such a good song. smile

My fandom started around Winter '06, while we were in class and two girls behind me were talkin about HYD, Doumyoji and, of course, Jun Matsumoto.
Then I asked them who is he and they replied "A s**y guy who act as Doumyoji Tsukasa in a dorama and he sings and take part of a group called "Arashi"". So I arrived at home and searched on Youtube and Google who he is and the group. The first vid I watched was his solo "La Familia" but this started around February '07 till now, I changed my ichiban at the next 2 months I knew about them when I discovered Sho and Ohno's talents clapping

. So, that's my fandom like around 2 years and 7 months, almost 3 years big grin

For me it was since the end of 2005. Weirdly it started from reading fanfics too blush

I used to be a huge NewS fan, I found Arashi stories after finding nothing new in the NewS section.

That makes it 14 mere months. :|

If my memory serves me right, I found out about them roughly when One Love was being released? Yeah, around that period of time, lol.

But truth be told, I'd heard their songs on TV when I was in primary school yearsssssss back (namely, Love so sweet, and some vague impression of having seen Kitto Daijoubu's PV :O) and I'd fell in love w/ LSS but never got to find out who the singers were, so I'd take watching HYD years later and shocking myself at recognising LSS' irreplaceable tune in Season 2 as fate to know Arashi. :'D
