Sometimes we hear the lyrics, erm, a bit wrong whistle

Share your experiences of mishearing Arashi lyrics!

I usually mishear the English parts since their pronouncing ain't the best..

1) I Want Somebody
I wonder if anyone got this part right XDD
The beginning of the song goes: I'm walking round in circles. Namae mo shiranu kimi wo..
However, I thought Jun sang I'm walking around in sandals.. XDDD

2) Firefly
The chorus of the song is very beautiful.
Weepin' in the rain ame wa sou hotaru no youni namida no sugata de..
Wait.. Weeping??? And I was sure it was We've been in the rain =D

Lol I'm ashamed to say I couldn't understand the part in Lucky Man where they say "Mantan car nanda"...I thought they were saying "Otokonoko" which just means boys. Eh?

As for their english...yea, it's not the best, but it's okay. Not as bad as some others.

I always had thought it was We Can Make It Through.
Turns out it was We can make it true...

2)Jam
It actually goes I feel I'm jammin out. Do you wanna jam?
I kept hearing...I feel like jumpin out to a jam.

In the song We Can Make It I thought they were saying We can make it through instead of We can make it true.

In Jam I thought they were saying I feel like jumping out instead of I feel I'm jammin' out.

Sho's solo from their TIME album sounded like Calico instead of Can't let go.

LOL! ARASHI's English is so funny & kawaii. clapping

I mishear what most people mishear:

For "we can make it true", i hear we can make it through

oh, i didn't even know it was english for the beginning line to "i want somebody"

lastly, sho's "can't let it go", i hear calico as well...

Even though I already know how We can make it! goes; we can make it true... it just never sounds like true, more like through. And I think we all hear it that way XD

And no waaayy! Does JAM really go like that?? Like you, I always thought it was I feel like jumpin out to a jam.

Hmm.. and Sho's you know what I mean in All or Nothing definitely sounds like ramen! XDD and somewhere after that part, I always hear johnny's/someway's lo-mein I check the lyrics but I don't think that part's included, so I may never know what it really is.

Also Jun's With Me, at first I thought it's do you like a rock. Then I thought, nah, it's gotta be; do you like TO rock. But I checked it just now, and it's really do you like a rock?! What does that even mean?? Like do you like a rock[er]? as in a rocker.

Then there's also Sho's Unti-Unti, it never crossed my mind that it was I'll go you just wait. I couldn never really make it out, I just know that it was Shonglish XD

Usually I just missheard a word or two, but there are lots more if I think more about it.. hahah Arashi and their english ^^

No matter how many times I listen to that song, I never hear it as "Mantan car nanda" mellow

Same with me

I think they said "we been in the rain", then i really think what they do in the rain.
After i read the lyric, i kinda laughing uppsssss it's "weeping in the rain"

I feel the same way. xD It seems like they're saying "Mantan Canada" to me.

Like so many others, I always hear "We can make it through". Even now that I know it's true, I will sometimes still sing through when I'm singing in the car.

For Sho's solo Can't Let You Go, I heard "can lego". I crack up every time I hear it because I think of Sho playing with Legos.

hahaha, this topic is really funny, because arashi songs are sooo easy to mishear =P. For example in Oh Yeah! in the part it says "mai agare" I always hear "Maria Carey", but as my native language is spanish, I hear it with the spanish pronounciation (not /maraia/ but /maria/)and in Te agero, in the beggining it says "do that shit" I hear "durecel" (which is a famous brand of batteries XD). But I still think that the best was one that someone mentioned in the first post "I'm walking round in sandals"!!! =P I loved it XD
