That will depend on your DVD player. You can play regional DVDs if your DVD player is "region-free" (that means you can play any region-coded) discs. Normally, DVD players sold in the US can read only region 1 coded discs and thus you cannot play a region 2 coded DVD on it. You can try to check with the manual of your player to see if there's any info regarding the region code your player can read.

In my case, i use my computer DVD drive to watch region 2 coded discs. Although I will not assure that all computer DVD drives can do that.

For more info on region codes, go

Things to try:
1. For episode 1, did you dl both SS files? You need part 1 and 2, and you need to join them with HJSplit (

).
2. Is the file the right size? The joined file for ep1 should be 475MB. If it's not, dl and join again.
3. Try playing the file with

Just to clarify, most DVD drives will allow you to play any region, but will only let you change regions 5 times. If you only watch discs from one region, you're okay. But if you watch from eg. R1 and R2, then every time you switch regions counts as a change. Do that five times and your drive will lock to the last region played. Of course, there's a way around it.

You can always try hacking your DVD player. >

< You won't have to take it apart, just push some buttons on the remote. I've done four players with no problem. smile

Frankly, no-one is going to teach anyone how to make different effects since it requires understanding of some coding + math, and also making effects takes time.

Aegisub includes few different kinds of effects, which you can edit or use as they are. If you still wanna make own effects, the link I gave earlier is useful:

I've been trying to download an Arashi Utaban appereance using megaupload.
The file does get downloaded but then I try to play it in Windows Media Player this is what I get:

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.

any suggestions of what other program to use...or how to fix this??

thank you.

i have that exact same problem with some videos and i got BS player and VLC player and it only plays to a certain point in the video with both those players, i think this is because it doesnt download the whole video but does anyone know why its doing that because it says that it finishes when it doesnt.

e.g
G no Arasi ep20 says the size is 168MB on my computer but on the download it says that it should be 273.2MB. cry

please help me

The only solution is to re-download the file. Try using a download manager (eg. Rapget or Mega Manager) to make sure you get the whole file. smile

Somehow everytime i download a video from either Mediafire, or sendspace, and the download is split into parts, only the first part works, but never the second, third or fourth parts...
