[DRAMA] Kimi Wa Petto

still watching this drama...

although, the difference really struck me..(i've only watched hyd and gokusen) the difference in the characters is amazing.. from bad boy to childish, happy go lucky guy..

I think the idea of the drama itself is really insightful, an emotionally insecure woman needing a backbone and emotional security ... oddly enough, she chose to get it from a human pet. It's sweet and touchy for the most part, although I kept wondering during the series when Sumire will get out of her insecurity comfort zone (cuz I think if she does, she'll be able to admit her feelings for Momo and let the owner-pet relationship grows into something more) And til the end she's still that way, her insecurity still remained. For that reason I find this drama to be a bit tedious.

The actors, however, do a great job. MatsuJun truly has range as an actor. And on a lighter note, I too would love to have him as a pet... lol big grin

I had started reading the manga for this back when it was first released in the states (under the name Tramps Like Us). I was able to read a couple volumes before I dropped it due to financial restrictions.

I came across the drama because I was looking up theme songs that V6 had done. Having remembered the manga I decided to give the drama a go. I'm still watching the series right now, about half way through it. I have a couple of comments. First off, I just want to smack Sumire once in a while. She can just be so darn annoying at times. Next, I want a Momo. He is just so adorable and sweet. Bonus points that it's MatsuJun.

This was his cutest role ever!! I loved it!! he was sooo adorable being a puppy!! I was so touched and entertained by this drama, loved it!!

He was cute, but for some reason I don't like this drama.
I don't know why but I don't. Actually I watched it only because of Jun ^^'

Yes , I saw that drama too , OMG Matsujun was so adorable
I really wish I could have a pet like him , or maybe having him as a pet !! blaah

its weird because he pretty much has the same hair and look as the original, but its like you can tell his face is older or just different somehow.

Jun was sooo cute as Momo...i loved his curly hair ^^

Seeing Jun acting as Momo makes me wonder if he is like that in a way, outside of his "cool" exterior.

Jun was so dorky and awkward in this. He's so adorable!!! I would love to see him doing some serious dancing in real life - he was so graceful!

I think that it was shooted while they were filming KwP, since you can see the cast waiting for their time. And that's the kind of "special" they air in the middle of the serie, hoping to get new spectators. More than half of it are only recaps of the actual episodes u_u

I loved this drama! I actually watched it 10 times now... Wohoo!

Jun was just great in this drama and he made an adorable pet! I love how it ended also. Its a great drama.

I have the SP.. it's interviews with Jun and Koyuki.. nothing special really..
they just talk about the series etc.

My fave scene is when they meet up when Koyuki has forgotten her disc so she and Jun meets..and she gives a reward to Jun..and he tries to find out what it can be in it by shaking the bag.. he looks soo cute!! in love

also when Sato Ryuta comes and Jun says that he and Koyuki are siblings and that he looks more like "their" mum.. wink
