I know what you mean. I like music in other languages although I haven't really looked into them like I have with Arashi ^_^
Once again I feel you're really lucky to have other people at your school who are interested in this type of stuff because the only people I know that kinda are would be my sister and some of her friends and even they aren't into it as much as I am.. Plus if me and my sister spend too much time together it never ends good :P

ah, well thank god for the internet hey? otherwise I would totally be going crazy as well At least here we can talk about arashi with people from everywhere, as opposed to people at school
hopefully this isn't too off topic, but how did you get into arashi anyway? because here in Aus you really can't find anything at ALL about them!
I kinda explained about how I got into Arashi in my first post in this topic (think that's what it's called) but basically it was Jun's fault :P Hana Yori Dango is what got me hooked. So Me = Jun-baited. But when I watched all the other members I slowly grew to love them all but I suppose Jun will always be my fav cuz he lead me to find these wonderful group of people
Ahh.. Sorry for the babbling again but how did you get into Arashi?

Well, mine is kinda complicated, ne?
Last year I went on a study tour in Japan, and my host sister was always playing Oh Yeah! and Love so sweet. So of course I asked who the band was, since I totally loved the songs, and she told me. So I got really excited and we went crazy and bought packets of tonari corn and that 1000x lemon water and ate them while watching the CMs on TV
,..but you see I kind of forgot all about them when I got back to Melb By some freak of nature, one of said girls (from prev posts) told me to watch HYD. So I watched, and really liked Wish...googled Jun and the song, and VOILA! Have been obsessed with Arashi ever since
Sorry, really long explanation...I got carried away
Do you study Japanese at school or anything?
Sorry for the late reply i've been real busy with school (exams and assignment due dates coming up).
I really really really wanted to study japanese at school (this is before I even heard anything about Arashi or any of the others) but the school I went to didn't teach it so I couldn't do it.. Then I changed schools in grade 10 and that school taught it but everyone else there that did japanese had done it from grade 8 and I knew i'd never be able to catch up so I didn't do it but my sister went there in grade 8 so she got to do it -.-

Yeah, I've had my exams this week as well...I've been seriously suffering Arashi withdrawal symptoms I've already watched like 3 eps of AnS and I still want more
Ah man, that really sucks about the Japanese at school thing I've been learning Japanese for ages, since year 5. It's weird though, because its only lately that I feel I can really understand/converse in it...it's like one day you just start thinking in Japanese or something. Weird huh? Although I've been learning heaps of new words from Arashi Fun and useful words like MAXIMUM UMAI are way more fun than learning grammar patterns
Hehe.. It's good that you've been suffering withdrawl symptoms cuz that means you've been doing the right thing and studying unlike me Cuz of all the stuff on this forum that I can download i've been doing too much of that and not enough of the study I should.. But I got an A for my english exam My exams start in about 2 weeks. You're lucky to have been able to learn japanese for so long but I suppose I can always just ask my sister to teach me.. But then I don't wanna cuz she's younger than me and she's probably brag about it :P

Haha yeah, there is always that danger of bragging
Do you have any Arashi stuffs? If I want anything Arashi related, I basically have to ask host sisters to send...either that or try to get paypal Australia is sooo ridiculously out of the loop of Japanese stuff
PS. hey you're a johnny's junior now woooot go you! ok....well I always get a thrill out of seeing my member ranking jump :P
I don't have anything I wish I did but like you said Australia is out of the loop and if I wanted to buy anything it would be so expensive and I don't have a job yet otherwise I would probably waste whatever money I made on whatever Arashi stuff I could find which probably wouldn't be much. Also the fact that I can't speak japanese would probably limit what I would buy cuz I wouldn't be able to understand anything :P Thanks for the congrats lol I was really happy when it changed. I felt bad whenever I looked at it and it said leecher
i'm australian and white and my arashi obsession all started with rain which i learnt from a friend strangely enough, i was watching full house and i was like this is really cool and i wondered if there were any other cool asian dramas i asked around and they said that hana yori dango was good and the opening song 'wish' was really good so i looked up and low and behold there was arashi
sorry for the long winded response
