My favorite drama has to be HYD. But my favorite charecter that he plays is probably Momo. Actually that's pretty hard to choose. He was an adorable smartie in Kindaichi, he was mysterious in Gokusen, and just all around great in HYD.
Jun was just so hott Gokusen!
His hair,his bad boynesss.
Then I found....HYD!
More of Jun's bad boyness.
He's so cute like that.
And he had such a wide range of emotions
In KWP..he was just so kawaii as Momo!
Him as the girl's petto was just too cute to handle.
Okay,time to vote!
Um...
I wanna vote...but I can't choose~
I think I'll have to go with my all time HYD.
It's only after HYD,that I actually got "officially" hooked on Matsumoto Jun~

since i saw him first in HYD. its my favorite drama of jun.
thats where i learned to like to him.
i liked him too in gokusen but i haven't finish watching it yet.
I think HYD was my favorite, because i just love the story!
But i also really loved Bambino!! XD
it's hard to choose between those two~~
Gokusen was good too, i liked Jun's hair style! XDD
Well after all... Matsumoto-sama is Domyouji to the core isn't he?
Is he playing the character or was the character simply meant for him to play? Either way he definitely has the Domyouji air around him wherever he goes now. I wonder of he likes having this image stamped upon him or not. Sometimes he seems to want to fight the DoS image he has and acts all cute and dorky. Yet Domyouji is cute and dorky partially as well.
Lets see if his image changes a lot after the Last Princess movie shall we. I can hardly wait

HYD was the first Japanese drama i ever watched and i fell for matsujun instantly
so i guess it would probably be HYD cuz it got me to start watching other japanese dramas.....instead of the korean ones i used to watch
I went for Kimi wa Petto in the end, though I was torn between that and Hana Yori Dango. I love them both equally because without one another, I wouldn't have appreciated either as much. [Agreeing with previous posters] the roles are so different and show how amazing an actor he is. I think this is mostly because they stem from different aspects of his real character. Although he's famously DoS and cool, as mentioned in Shukudai-kun, he is self-proclaimed TSUNDERE. I've lost track of the number of guests etc who say "Jun is surprisingly kind to those around him" [despite his image]
Quick definition from DenshiJisho for tsundere:
1: being on the surface sharp and sarcastic (tsuntsun) but underneath lovestruck and fawning (deredere); characteristic of a gap between acted out actions and feelings in mind;
2: normally being sharp but at some prompt suddenly becoming lovestruck; hot-cold personality type
