How many languages can you speak?

Aww, I can only know english, cantonese and mandarin.

Japanese has been a self learnt pastime I'm just slowly doing...hehehe

wow you guys are so lucky..you know at lot of languages.
i wanna learn other languages..well i can only speak english and tagalog a.k.a filipino..im learning japanese but only self study. i just bought a book to to learn from. im still not good. hopefully maybe later on i will know how to speak japanese. big grin

Um, yah, so, languages, right?

Mine are English, German, Japanese[in the process*cough*], some Spanish and after Japanese will come French.

I also wanna try my hand at Tagalog, but who knows?

I can speak Japanese as my first language but since I went to school in Canada English as my second language (but I had to ask my parents which language was first because I can`t remember) and then I can speak french because I live in Canada. And I`m hoping to learn Spanish and Italian!

I speak English, French, German, Polish and Japanese.
Japanese at this point is the one I'm least fluent in, but I hope to change that over the next year. Persistence is key!

My mom's a linguistics professor, so she's really into me learning languages and such which is why when I was young she pushed that on me. Luckily it's something I really love so it was and continues to be fun!

I hope to be fluent in at least 5 languages before I die smile

I can speak English, and some Japanese, but I'm still learning and whatnot. Since Cebuano and Tagalog are my mom's native languages, I can understand a bit that's being said, but can't speak them, haha.

So pretty much, at the moment, English is my dominant language.

I speak thai since i'm thai .... and English coz they made me study it form elementary school
And now I have to speak french coz i'm studying in France.

And I'm going to speak japanese soon .... coz I already got a lot of Arashi vid and a Japanese book in my hand big grin

well i speak fluent japanese and english...
i was born in america but both my parents are from japan...
and i also speak "fluent" french (note the "" in fluent... lol)

dang, everyone here is sooo skilled!

My first language is English, though I'm more than proficient in Spanish, or so I like to believe.... XD I'm studying Japanese on my own, and I'm fairly decent at American Sign Language. smile

I'll probably study Italian in the near future, as well.

for me it's english, cantonese, mandarin, chao chou (a chinese dialect)..

use to know malay a bit, but not anymore...

and got a bit of japanese through jpop... haha!
