Hey! I am not sure that this is the right place to post this, so I can delete if needed.
I was watching a video of one of their wonderful concerts the other day, I think it was the Time concert , and I got to the part where they are throwing their signed boards to the screaming audience and I got to thinking how much I would love to be there! How fun the concert would be, and then I remembered how I don't even live on the same continent as them! I live in the U.S. the closest I get to Arashi is through the internet, I am getting a little sad about it. Nowadays I almost cry every time I watch one of their concerts because I just wish I lived on the same continent as them so that I could be a little closer!
I was just wondering if I was going insane or if other people feel the same way, wishing that they could be a little closer to those boys we love.
no its not just you...its easy to look at those 5 guys we all love so much and just wish to be even a little closer...if nobody else knows how u feel, i do...the exact same way...watching AAA at tokyo dome or Final Time always makes me a little sad...i guess by watching them so much we kinda feel like we know them, ya kno?

I & I'm sure other fans around the world feel the same way as the 2 of you do. We all wish we can get closer to the boys. Even close enough for them to just make eye contact & smile & wave at us the way they do w/ their fans at their concerts.

you know, that kind of feelings and thoughts sound really familiar. you're not insane traveling to Japan is expensive and getting tickets to concerts may be difficult but you know, it's not impossible! i was told once that whatever you want to do and if you want it enough, that thing will happen. and i can tell you, it's true! i never dreamed i could see my favorite band (that is Japanese as well) but now i've seen them twice, once in Japan! so i know everything is possible, trust me.
people, don't forget your dreams because they may come true one day if you work hard enough for them!

Ohmygosh! I totally feel the same way... It's not unusual to see me cry when watching their concert dvds.
I know how you feel. Ah, it's so depressing... I really do wish I can go to go to their concerts. But it's abit impossible for me... ^.^;; Maybe a few years later...
But I will never give up on my dream! As they say, 'when there's a will, there's a way.'
Hmm, yes, I experience this longing every day. And on top of that, I know I wont be able to even visit their soil any time in the near future, or far future for that matter...I get really sad thinking about this because as awful as it sounds, I feel by the time I graduate college and actually have money and time to spare, they may no longer be touring or even together and I dont think it would be the same standing on the ground of my -former- Arashi boys...*tear*...But in this matter I just keep reminding myself theyve been around this long and are stronger than ever so there is still a chance!

Aw...Poor Kid...No, you're definitely are not alone. Use them as a goal to doing well. However, sometimes I get annoyed at myself because even though it's fun to obsess over these guys, the chances of meeting them are slim, and its important not to forget the other things in life. Which is why we have Arashi forums like aibakaland to vent. Right?

Don't worry!
I bet every fan out there feels the same way
and I do know how you feel!
I always wish I could be one of those people in the crowd,
standing, screaming and singing throughout the whole concert
with Arashi! I always dream of that.
But I know, if I just sit around and do nothing,
I'll keep saying to myself, "I really wish I was closer to Arashi..."
It's better to do something about it
and never give up something you always wanted to do.
I'm going to save up some money in order to fly over to Japan
and try to get a concert ticket so I can see Arashi live in concert!
(if they ever gonna do another concert in Japan)
But at the same time, convince Arashi to come to America sometime!
I know it's hard work, but it's really worth it if you ever get a chance!
Shoot, I saw Linkin Park live in concert for the first time,
why not Arashi???
Give it a chance
It's never too late to meet/see Arashi live!

one day, i will see them perform live somewhere. i'm that determined to see them perform live, but i think i'm pretty realistic to a degree. i'm very picky with who i see in concert and i definitely want to see arashi live. i've seen dvds and heard their lives and their lives don't make me cringe or question their singing abilities (unlike many other artists) so i definitely want to see them.
i'm not even imagining of meeting them or personally giving them gifts or even being within a couple of feet from them (as if i could afford tickets that could make me within arashi's proximity). i don't even count on a celebrity sighting outside of the concert venue. i really don't like sitting too far (like on the top) of concert venues, but if it's the only way to see arashi, then maybe i'll do it.
like torisutan-yi said, if she saw linkin park live, then why not arashi (btw, i saw linkin park too last year, goooood stuff)? i live in california and heck, i saw dong bang shinki/tohoshinki perform in person and even had direct contact with them, so why not arashi?
but it would definitely suck if they aren't having a concert tour when i do plan to travel around asia in a couple of years. honestly, i wouldn't postpone my trip if they weren't having one. i still want to travel around asia, but it would be awesome if arashi had a live somewhere around that time frame then i would definitely make the effort to go watch them. if it was meant for me to see them, then i will
I understand how youre feeling too cuz I get the same way sometimes
I'll watch or listeing or whatever to something to do with Arashi and while i'm watching i'm happy and smily and then when it's over it all sinks in that although I can see them on screen it's not the same as being at say one of their concerts with all the other screaming fangirls and singing along with them. But there's always hope right? If you try your best to reach your goals then you have a high chance of getting their one day and it'll all be worth it
Sometimes I'm just like "MAN I wanna meet 'em" or just see them to confirm were living on the same planet. There ultimate Idols so far away- but their great personalities' reach us no matter where we are.
I'm in the midst of my graduate program so I have to focus on my own life and career first. So I made a promise to myself to learn Japanese in these 3 years while I wait so when I graduate I can go and see a concert, maybe if I save the money.
I'm an artist so I thought I'd start taking commissions so I can start saving up, ne.
I guess with me instead of dwelling on the fact that I'm not there and I may never be able to join the Japanese Fan Club or go to a TV studio taping. I just set a goal.

I know how you feel....I always feel sad when I watch an Arashi concert. Especially when it looks like they're having so much fun...
For one, I wasn't there to experience it. And I don't even know if I'll ever be able to see them, since I'm too young to travel to Japan, and who knows when they'll break up....(ack that's such a horrible thought)
But I'll try my hardest to go to a concert when I have the chance!! Plus, even if it's just through the internet...I can still watch their concerts and shows and all. ^^
Aww, *pats your back*
I also feel the same way. D;
It's hard being an overseas fan ne? Not only are we so far away from them, if we want to go see concerts, it's a lot harder and expensive. Not to mention we'd have to get tickets to GO to Japan. :(
That's why, whenever I watch some arashi show or something, when they're outside near a normal everyday shop, I try remembering the look. Then , if I ever go to Japan and see that shop, I'll step on the same place as them. XD And be like *yay, we placed our feet on the same place* XD
I hope all of us can go see Arashi someday, ne ? :X

wow! this just makes me so sad! we all have the same feeling! those boys that we LOVE so MUCH! are so far away. being an overseas fan sucks. our chances to see them are so slim! i hate it! then watching shows and videos of them just feeds that addiction!
i will never lose hope though! and i hope that no one else does either! all of us one way or another will see them!!!
