sadly all of my friends are into emo music, indie rock or hip-hop so they have an instinctive aversion to anything johnnie's. i totally lost the respect of my little sister after i made her listen to some jpop haha.

i think arashi songs are a little too happy for my friends so i usually try to play signal or yorokobi no uta by kat-tun.

however i did get some of my friends hooked on jdramas though! so even if they won't listen to them, they have no problem looking at the johnnies ahaha

i think out of all my friends im the only one that is into jpop. tehir more into the rap/hip-hop and tease me for liking music that i don;t even understand but love the sound and voices. but my boyfriend has gotten use to me playing wish and love so sweet in the car that he doesn;t even change the cd when the song comes on.

I never got into any of the JE music till my friend lent me her HYD and HYD2 DVDs and i ddnt like Wish at first, it was too happy for my tastes. But then she told me that MatsuJun was a member of Arashi, who sings Wish, this was me......

but yeah, after that, I started listening to her iPod and Sakura Sake became my fave song, and on my own iPod its playcount is at 240!
she then introduced me to NEWS-----> Nippon, Hoshi wo Mezashite and Akaku Moyuru Taiyō are my faves.
and KAT-TUN, Real Face is my fave song.

I must say, I never thought I'd listen to upbeat music like Arashi cuz I'm more of a Visual Kei girl.

eheh? most of my friends already know about arashi (moreover johnny's) musics before I do...
we're quite familiar to each other's music tastes so... I only showed arashi musics to those who can handle it...

in fact, it was me who was captured by sakura sake and kotoba no yori pv played by my friend... ^^
as for me, I always play we can make it pv (manage to attract three people to become arashi fans) since it's a song that can be considered as good for most people... (and ohno's voice is so great in that)

i have one friend who knows about my addiction. I've only shown him photos and haven't forced him to listen to Arashi's songs yet.

I've forced my sister to do so, though. lol. Once when we were on a trip, I brought my player along with me and hers was with her bf so I forced her into listening to Arashi songs. I even told her to tell me which one's the best. She's not into Arashi's type of music though. I also let her bf listen to it. Of course he said it was good.

O and I forced an officemate to listen to Niji once. He was like "o, Nihonjin?" haha.. I asked if it was good, he said nothing. lol.

I'm the only person in our peer group who's so in love with Jpop...

I've just recently tried to introduce Arashi songs to a friend.

Surprisingly, she finds A.ra.shi much more attractive than Sakura Sake so you should keep that in mind too? XD

Of course, her taste might be different.
