This topic made me travel around the world by just sitting in front of my pc.

It's so cool to know that Arashi has fans in continents like Europe, North America, South America, Australia and Asia. That's 5 out of the 7 major continents of the world!!!

Anybody there from Antartica? or Africa perhaps?? wink

As for me, I'm from the Philippines particularly from Makati, the Philippines' financial district...The site of most rallies against the government lately because no one's allowed to rally at EDSA Shrine anymore.

But don't get scared. Rallies in my city are always quiet and manageable. People wrap things up after their programs which last in no more than 5 hours.

If you want to visit my country try going to Siargao Island, the Philippines' surfing capital. They hold annual surfing cups there usually in September when the waves are really huge. The beaches there have fine white sand. Btw, Siargao Island is on the North Eastern part of Mindanao Island facing the Pacific Ocean.

Currently I'm living in the town that my college is in, which is only like 45 minutes away from where I grew up. I grew up on the New York and Ontario border, on this itty bitty strip of land called the Akwesasne reservation. Born in Ontario, went to high school in New York state. Very small place to grow up in but eh, Ottawa was only an hours drive away so it wasn't too bad, lol.

High school was pretty average, though there was the odd week in november that they suddenly christened native american week, nobody really minded, it was an excuse to spend a couple of days out of class, lol. Um, there isn't much of an attraction for the area now, except for the casino, lol. There are a couple of pow wows throughout the year.

You have to drive over to Cornwall to get any type of international food, but we do pack the comfort food at home, lol. Fried bread, which is just as it sounds, corn soup and the widely ripped Indian Taco. Every reserve has an indian taco, its just whatever their version of fried bread is and typical taco fillings. My dad uses deer meat and its fantastic, not original and probably not healthy but its satisfying, lol.

It's Philippines.. Lolz anyway a bit about our country.. I'm from Philippines but at Quezon City (Star Capital fo Philippines since most famous Filipino stars resides at Quezon City) side.. Near Manila (which can be called as Chinese district since most of people who lived there are Chinese) ^^

Personally, I'd say it's a mix of all races >.< We follow American standards and some Chinese standards but in all, of course, Filipino culture stands out..

1. We are very, very hospitable.. You may meet some that are not but most Filipinos are very friendly and hospitable
2. Filipinos love to eat.. A lot..
3. We love to share ^^
4. Government sucks.. Well in my opinion it sucked..
5. You'll love Christmas here..
6. We're very warm people..
7. Not all Filipinos are thieves, idiots, stupids and works as domestic helper..

There seemed to be bad publicity about Philippines but in reality, it's a place worth visiting.. Rallies are manageable and no such thing as killing everywhere >_< If that's true, I'd probably dead by now.. Economics may be down.. That's why I hate the government T_T

If you ever decided to visit Philippines, visit Sagada Mountain Province, Pagudpud (for the beach), Boracay (also a beach but I prefer Pagudpud more)..

Places I want to visit.. That would be Japan, China and Korea.. That's it as of now.. Lolz!

I might as well say something about my country ^^
I live in Poland and my native language is polish.
In school we learn english and german or french. Poland is a small sountry in middle Europe and lately more and more people tend to leave the country to work in England/America etc. When it comes to junk food you can probably buy any but they'd be smaller then American ones of course.
things here are probably cheap for foreign people.
I don't know what else to write here so i'll just stop ;P

I don't think I've written in this topic - I'm an Indian, specifically living in Mumbai. I think I'm the only Indian fan here so far?

Anyway, I was born in Chennai (another city) and so my mother tongue is Tamil. But since I live in Mumbai, I know Hindi and English and understand Marathi to some extent as well (native language for Mumbai). You'd find in India that everyone needs to know *at least* 2 to 3 languages.

There are people here who like Japanese dramas and songs, but I don't know any other Arashi fans (though of course I'm trying to convert my friends big grin)

We are having the monsoons now and the weather is amazing. Though it seems that every year, the monsoon catches our government unaware and we end up having flooded and dirty roads, terrible traffic and a hard time travelling anywhere :(

Mumbai is supposed to be the financial capital of India and we also have most of our film stars living here so we do get to see Amitabh Bachchan (he's a really famous Indian actor) and others traversing, as well as businessmen. The people here are always in a hurry but always willing to help out as well if you're in trouble. And no one seems to have time for anything, from what you can understand. A lot of people also like different things. For example, its okay for me to like Japanese stuff here more than anywhere else in the country because everyone have their own different interests.

We just had a terrible summer so I'm really glad about the rains. Okay, I can't think of anything else for now, but I'm really glad about this thread, coz it gives a nice insight about other places. Otherwise you only hear about Michigan, Philippines and so on and have no idea what its like. Though I'd love to live in Japan - Sakura blossoms and the chance to see my favorite artists in the midnight train when I'm traveling! WTH

Hi, I'm Lan and I'm a dramaholic from Arashian.

..

Ha, just pulling your leg.

Actually, I'm from Texas(born and pretty much raised down in the wee tip), but now I'm hoping to go study in Belize.

Yeah, we're not all "HOWDY HOWDY HOWDY!" over in these parts, but there are some 'good ol' boys and girls', as my dad calls them, respectively.

There's a lot of different cultures in Texas, of which I've seen so far includes Indonesian, Japanese, German, Italian, Polish, Russian, Mexican, and Chinese. Wait, doesn't that pretty much cover everything?

It hardly ever snows where I've lived in my past years. I've seen snow about twice, but that was after I was old enough to remember things correctly.

Currently it's been raining like crazy 'cause of the hurricane season approaching, and my parents want to relocate my family to a place called 'Mineral Wells'. I doubt many of you have heard of it, but that town is supposedly famous for it's 'crazy water', which is full of vitamins and minerals naturally.(Gee, what an original name for a town with mineral water.)

It's okay here, but frankly I don't recommend coming to a place like this unless you're heading for a place in the southern parts called South Padre Island, which has a pretty neat beach to go and.. do whatever beach-goers do.

Am I the only Arashi fan from TX? Does that make me a representative? :'D

Edit: Ugh this is a long post and I've edited too much already..

Anyways, what was my point with this?

..Ah, forget it. I'm going to like, go sleep or something.

Nice thread! It's interesting reading about other people.

Well originally I was born in the Middle East but then I moved to France for a few months but then I moved again to Amsterdam and I stayed longer there - enough to learn the language fluently then I finally moved to England when I was about 8 and I still live here now (I've kinda forgoten all my dutch though) and somehow I got pulled into the world of Johnny's and Arashi.

England, well, I'm sure most people know about England. Small island in the west. There's a lot of cultures here. If you walk around in London for about 15 minutes I swear you can hear like 10 different languages. The foods kinda ok - mostly fast food (I prefer Middle Eastern food of course).

At school you learn about 10 or 11 subjects and up to GCSE you have to do a Modern Foreign Language - at some schools they offer a VERY wide range but when I was at school there was only French or Spanish.

It rains like half the year and it's pretty windy sometimes. If it is sunny though, you kind of burn cause there's too much UV light or something.
I have a few friends that really like japenese music - mostly rock - but unfortunately no-one that I know even knows who Arashi is. If Arashi was going to have a concert in Europe in somewhere like Germany or France then I would definately go!

I live in Mississippi, but I was born in Florida. I live in a small town right next to the capital, Jackson. Yeah ... there's not much to do here. We never get all of the seasons. It's usually hot and muggy for most of the year. Sometimes we get lucky and it'll snow!! It's rare ... and we never get enough ... and it never lasts long :( !

Most people don't really have that thick southern accent that's often portrayed in the movies. It always makes me giggle when the national news interviews people from here ... It's like they try to find the person with the thickest accent to talk to!

Hi everyone!
I live in Hungary. Do you know where it is?
Well, most people doesn't, but Hungary is (approx.) in the middle of Europe.
I don't really know what to say about my country... It's not that great place, really.
One thing is sure: we have a very wicked language here (every foreigner says so).
I'm telling you this because when I read this site's name >Aibakaland<, I thought that it was in hungarian at first (sorry^^").THen, at the second thought, I realised I was wrong, but this site still sounds me like a word pun (sorry again^^""""")
And the cause is: the word "kaland" exists in hungarian too! It means 'adventure'. And knowning Arashi, I first thought the site was called 'Aiba Kaland' ~ 'Aiba Adventure'. big grin
Then I noticed the name was from the words 'Ai' (or 'Aiba' XD), 'baka', and 'land'. XD

I'm from Pontianak , a small town in West Kalimantan , Indonesia.
Now I live in Jakarta [still Indonesia] for study~ Bumpkin yay! XD
Pontianak is boring town that'll force any youngster willing to get out A.S.A.P from there whistle But I must say that I love the weather , good fruits and moreover , there's my mom & house there XD Also , in Pontianak there's lot of Chinese ethnicity people , and I even live/school in community that 98% of the people is Chinese 0-o

here where I live now , Jakarta , filled with pollute and very hot everyday, plus I live in place where the living level really shocks me [for sometime at first I start live here , I always throwing up when eat food sold here] How ignorant people can be with their own health?? *glance at the extra spicy-sweet-salty-sour-oily-unhealthy foods* NOOO!
sorry being have to list some of my complain here... lol!

But human's adaption is amazing , and although I hate the weather and how difficult the transportation here, at least I can live & study XD

The cheapness of the living here , really makes me think at least this country have some kind of positive point too XD
