Tokyo Tower (2005)

Plot Outline:
Toru Kojima and his friend Koji are young student boys with one thing in common - they both love to date older women. Koji is a playboy with several women, young and older, whereas Toru is a romantic with his heart set on on certain lady.

Cast:
Junichi Okada - Toru Kojima
Hitomi Kuroki - Shifumi
Jun Matsumoto - Koji
Shinobu Terajima - Kimiko

Although Jun is not the leading character in this movie.. and he played a really nasty.. bad playboy role.. Hardcore playboy actually.. he nailed it.. gotta give him my a-round-applause clapping

'coz he did annoyed me here. the story goes a bit slow.. not really my touch.. but i watched it because of Jun. Again, even if Jun is not the lead character.. it's MUST-SEE movie of Jun (if you're really a fan of Jun.. otherwise.. you wouldn't like it). He's a total hottie but bad.. really bad and rude here.
Like Nino's Ao no Hono and Yasashii Jikan.. this movie proves Jun a great actor.

I downloaded it a while ago, just to see a different side of MatsuJun (and OKAY, the ::cough:: nudity might have had something to do with it) and while I agree he played the ruthless playboy part really well, overall the slow pace and the apathy I felt for the characters in general made me dislike the movie. And the ending was absolutely Hollywood (or possibly Kdrama?) - I felt the point of the movie would have been made more effective if they hadn't gone the route they did. It's based on a well known Japanese novel, though, isn't it?

Wonder how the novel ended....

I read about this movie a while ago and wanted to see it after finding out that MatsuJun was in it~ Never did get around to it though. There's so many things coming out! @_@

yes! he's so hot in the film!!! I love his role, but not the plot... but the plot about Junnichi Okada, was so romantic ^^

i mean PARIS (quite fun to listen to japanese people talking in french, it's so hard for them as the prounouciation is really different) I was hoping SO much to see jun in paris *O* ... and it was the other guy T_T

I agree that Jun was really good in it, but I don't think the plot was something to rave about. It felt really shallow in the end even though there was so much potential. The characters weren't explored that much and I really didn't get any message, except that some guys like older women?

Ah well, at least I got to drool over Jun for a while. ..

lol, yeah that's how I felt too. I didn't really like the movie to much, but it was nice to see Jun in a different type of role. He did well!

I have this movie too but I also haven't watch it yet. I don't have any English subtitles, and it's the main reason why I haven't watch it yet. Maybe somebody got them?

Same here. I really didn't think it was that good of a movie. Was there even suppose to be a message? I thought it was just some plain ol' romance story between guys and older women. =/ The only thing that was worth it all was drooling over Jun and Junichi.
