Johnny Songs and your friends!!

sadly all of my friends are into emo music, indie rock or hip-hop so they have an instinctive aversion to anything johnnie's. i totally lost the respect of my little sister after i made her listen to some jpop haha.

i think arashi songs are a little too happy for my friends so i usually try to play signal or yorokobi no uta by kat-tun.

however i did get some of my friends hooked on jdramas though! so even if they won't listen to them, they have no problem looking at the johnnies ahaha clapping

i think out of all my friends im the only one that is into jpop. tehir more into the rap/hip-hop and tease me for liking music that i don;t even understand but love the sound and voices. but my boyfriend has gotten use to me playing wish and love so sweet in the car that he doesn;t even change the cd when the song comes on. big grin

I never got into any of the JE music till my friend lent me her HYD and HYD2 DVDs and i ddnt like Wish at first, it was too happy for my tastes. But then she told me that MatsuJun was a member of Arashi, who sings Wish, this was me...... WTH

but yeah, after that, I started listening to her iPod and Sakura Sake became my fave song, and on my own iPod its playcount is at 240!
she then introduced me to NEWS-----> Nippon, Hoshi wo Mezashite and Akaku Moyuru Taiyō are my faves.
and KAT-TUN, Real Face is my fave song.

I must say, I never thought I'd listen to upbeat music like Arashi cuz I'm more of a Visual Kei girl.

eheh? most of my friends already know about arashi (moreover johnny's) musics before I do...
we're quite familiar to each other's music tastes so... I only showed arashi musics to those who can handle it...

in fact, it was me who was captured by sakura sake and kotoba no yori pv played by my friend... ^^
as for me, I always play we can make it pv (manage to attract three people to become arashi fans) since it's a song that can be considered as good for most people... (and ohno's voice is so great in that) big grin

i have one friend who knows about my addiction. I've only shown him photos and haven't forced him to listen to Arashi's songs yet.

I've forced my sister to do so, though. lol. Once when we were on a trip, I brought my player along with me and hers was with her bf so I forced her into listening to Arashi songs. I even told her to tell me which one's the best. She's not into Arashi's type of music though. I also let her bf listen to it. Of course he said it was good.

O and I forced an officemate to listen to Niji once. He was like "o, Nihonjin?" haha.. I asked if it was good, he said nothing. lol.

I'm the only person in our peer group who's so in love with Jpop...

I've just recently tried to introduce Arashi songs to a friend.

Surprisingly, she finds A.ra.shi much more attractive than Sakura Sake so you should keep that in mind too? XD

Of course, her taste might be different.

I played Sakura Sake and Truth.
My best friend loves them now.
Whenever we see eachother we say "ARASHI! ARASHI! FOR DREAM!!!"
It makes us laugh because we think of the Aiba speaking English video on Youtube.
She loves Arashi.
I really don't listen to others like SMAP or KAT-TUN...

haha xD I listen so mutch to arashi because of my friends xDDD they talked every time on our way to concerts about arashi xD I was like "hm I have some arashi song no" searched at home on my pc and played sakura sake (btw my first arashi song) and I searched more and more xD

and now, lol, my best friend and another friend of me began to listen to J.E.'s too xD
but I haven't played some songs I showed them pv's xD

My friends are all into North American peoples...
I don`t know anything about them.
You know the Jonas brothers, Miley Cyrus. One friend like Tokio Hotel.
My closest friends will never like JE.
One friend likes Yamada Ryosuke but she`s not crazy about him. She likes the song We can make it! She only knows the first bit of it, and Ultra Music Power...We both sing J Johhnys U Ultra M Music P Power!!
Another one pretends to like Arashi and KAT-TUN...She likes Sho...but I`m a bit mean you know...? So I`m like choose someone else!!! So ya.
Oh but what makes me mad is that to show off and to pretend to like Arashi she bought the Time CD she hasn`t even opened it yet...It`s still in it`s plastic and everything. And mines in terrible condition...
She also has the KAT-TUN Real Face Concert. She hasn`t shown it to me tho...She said she lost it.....and I don`t even have it! (Yep, I must have more JE things than anyone else.)
Ok and the rest of my friends think Their weird and laugh at them, think they are girls...and make fun of me that I like girls...and I`m arguing that they are guys...
So I`ve given up.
Except since my friends are all Japanese we all watch Doramas. I watched Yamada Taro Monogatari when I was in Japan and like six months later it airs on TV Japan or whatever it`s called so I tell all my friends they should watch it.
So now when I sing Happiness there all like "Not that song again!!"

When I first got into Arashi, I really loved Happiness, but I think it was too much for my best friend at the time. But lately, my other good friend has really been into it smile

Surprisingly, they both liked Kitto Daijoubu and got addicted to it. In a kind of mocking way, but we all set it as our ringtones XD

Most of my friends like Sakura Sake and Kotoba Yori Taisetsu na Mono. My sister likes truth, Happiness, and most all Arashi songs, but she finds Kitto Daijoubu weird.

My bff said she almost cried when she heard Niji. I think Niji is almost unhatable XD

Omg how do you all get your friends to like Arashi?? None off my friends are interested in japanese music or any japanese stuff and I think they just gonna laugh if I play a song from Arashi ~sigh~

i let my sister hear kitto daijoubu... and a success,, she knows it already, i mean, only the tune.. he knows the tune of the chorus, the lucky lucky baby .... i ja nai..! hehe..

and i showed her the PV of we can make it...
he likes the rap part of sho (only his steps there,, closing of the eyes, etc) she always mimic sho, haha, how funny..

my friends know them...
my highschool friends also like asian stuffs..
but my college friends, they don't care if i like it... maybe if i'll let them hear something, i'll choose niji for slow songs.. and kitto daijoubu for fast...

if they know, hyd, since im from the philippines, and hyd is the only show that has an arashi member, i'll let them listen to love so sweet or wish..

o yah, jun is also in gokusen (but, i don't have a song of v6 (from what i remmber, the theme song is theirs))

I haven't got many of my friends into JE Artistes yet...

I have a close friend who introduced me to Tegoshi Yuya. I introduced her to a J-drama and that's how she became a Jun fan. However, she wasn't very keen on Arashi's pop-ish songs so she's still just a Tegoshi and Jun fan.

And then, I played truth and forced her to watch the PV. She liked the song, and (YAAAY!) found Aiba cute too!

Another way I'm getting her into Arashi is to make her watch funny Arashi videos with me. I'm armed with Arashi no Shukudai-kun, Mago Mago Arashi, the Hows it Going tour cams and others.

And, I'm going to make her watch Arashi's PVs!

So far for NewS, I play Ai Nante and Sayaendou
For Tegomassu I play Ai Ai Gasa and Miso Soup.
For KAT-TUN it's LIPS and Akanishi Jin's Lovejuice.

I want a lot of my friends to be hooked to JE artistes!

(Then we can fangirl together!)
