If Arashi didn't exist, would you still love J-Music?

First,am i in the right place? coz.. i'm not quite sure... if not, just transfer it somewhere else..
okay.. back to the topic itself..
This is just an "if"
If Arashi weren't formed, either the members were in other j-bands or not in the showbiz, would you still want to listen J-Music?
No,offense to all Arashi lovers! (coz.. i also really love them the most among all the J-bands).
but maybe,i'll still listen to J-music without them... because, there are still many great music out there in Japan... and with different bands too..

If Arashi didn`t exist I would still like J-music because I liked KAT-TUN before I found out about Arashi!
I also like watching Music Station! I like Japanese music!
I voted. YES. If Arashi did not exist and what not, I would still listen to Japanese music. ^_____^; There are plenty of artists out there that are good too. A bunch of variety and I really like some of them. The artist that gotten me into Japanese music was Utada Hikaru or Ayumi Hamasaki. I'm not really sure if I discover which one first, but I started to like the music and all. =)
Actually, I'm not sure. Arashi was the whole reason I got really into J-music in the first place. Maybe I would've liked the internationally famous musicians, like Utada Hikaru, but I wouldn't have had enough interest to dive as deep into the genre as I did with Arashi.

I was into other Jpop before I found out about Arashi (and JE in general). I'm sure my obsession would've just fallen somewhere else if Arashi never existed...although I'm glad they do exist
I believe I wouldn't have been as obsessed with J-music if it weren't for Arashi. Before them, the only J-music I listened to were the intros and endings for a few animes (Nana, Beck and Naruto) as well as some popular rock bands (Luna Sea & X-Japan). Of course there are other great artists/bands in japan but I just don't listen to it as much.
I voted YES because Utada Hikaru got me into J-music and I liked Kat-tun and NEWS before Arashi. I would've still been obsessed with JE and J-music, but Arashi makes it even more enjoyable ^^

I voted YES.
But I think I wouldn't be a j-pop lover, cause actually I started liking j-music when I first listened to Moi dix Mois, Dir en Grey, D'espairsRay, etc.
I first started getting into J-music when I was aroud, 7, 8 perhaps? I was watching the VHS subs (LOL) of Rurouni Kenshin....
I found L'arc-en-ciel and M-flo (Two of my most favorite J-musicians?) way before I found Arashi, so even if I didn't find Arashi, I'd still be listening to the previously mentioned, and so from time to time I'll find a new J-artist or song I like....
yeah because L'Arc~en~Ciel was my first j-band. i'd still listen to Japanese music but i think it'd be more rock music then. maybe i wouldn't be familiar with other JE groups though..
