i think RIDAAAA is very charismitic just by looking at him you totally can fall in love on the spot!
(how can you not like the cute baby face?!?! haha)
anw, any idea if ohno had his future/fortune told by any fortune teller on television?
hi uhm i'm not sure if it's okay to ask here but i would really be grateful if my question would be answered...my question is:
why is ohno's name has an 'h' in between 'o' and 'n'?
although i think it's weird if his name is ono and not ohno...also i know that in japan it's written down as 'ohno' and not otherwise...still, with my limited knowledge of japanese, i think that that kind of spelling is not natural based on hiragana and katana...also the kanji word for ohno also spell it as 'ono'...
although i'm into arashi for almost a year now, i've just thought about this recently...it's weird that i didn't notice this earlier...onegaishimasu:)

大野智when romanized is spelt as Oono Satoshi. I am not really sure about the reason for the H but I think they put in the H so that it can be pronounced a bit easier on the part of the non japanese speaking people. However you will notice that at the press conference for the 2006 asia song festival his name on the name card on the table was spelt as Oono too.
oh yeah i forgot that the first character has two o's instead of one...hmmm interesting...thank you very much...i guess if 'ohno' is instead spelled as 'oono' someone who's not familiar with the japanese language may pronounce it the same way as 'book' and 'look'...although, of course foreigners are not really expected to pronounce foreign words correctly...surprisingly the japanese accepted that kind of spelling...

no prob
haha yeah i think its quite interesting that the japanese seem to accept his name being spelled that way.. haha actually maybe they dun bother as they use his name in katakana, kanji and hiragana most of the time..
*question deleted... sorry... I'm still learning about which one is rumor/scandal/too private*
I noticed that when Ohno's got scared, he would instinctively hold on to someone else's arm:
-when he got scared of the cows, he holds sho's arm
-when he's in the giraffe container he also holds sho's arm tightly (if I'm not mistaken, though, my memory sucks)
-he tried to grab Nino's arm when the zoo keeper was about to put the giant snake on him but he failed (because Nino stepped away from him ^^)
-when the male lion got stepped closer to them and Sho ran back, Ohno followed him grabbing his arm yet again
I believe I've seen more than those but my memory (again) sucks, gomenasai...
I just wanna know whether it's my imagination or it's true that Ohno have a perfect instinct of a child when he got scared... ^^
btw, this thread is really rich, I love it!! thank you!!

I saw Ohno wearing a pair of glasses while drawing something at "O no Arashi". Are those glasses real? I mean, does he have vision problems like Matsujun?

Riida is far-sighted, and Jun is near-sighted.
Riida wears contacts for public appearances, and I heard he only wears glasses when reading.
And yeah, in O no Arashi, I don't think those glasses are really his real ones. They're just for making him look like a cute, dorky artist. ^^
This is probably a dumb question or shouldn't be asked here... but which songs were written by Ohno of all the Arashi songs? I mean, even presuming he wrote his own singles, there may be other songs for which he wrote the lyrics? Or had a hand in it? So which songs are those?
Also an entirely different question: He DYED his hair black for Maou - does this mean his hair is naturally not black? What colour is it then? I mean I've seen red, brown, yellow... so I'm not too sure here?

I don't know the answer to your 1st question i'm sorry...
But i just had to laugh at the 2nd question. I know. I'm really sorry. It's cute the way you phrase it... or may be i got the wrong meaning..
Anyway, i'm pretty sure it's naturally black. I think if you see their debut video, Oh-chan has black hair. He dyed it black for Maou because before the start of Maou shooting, he had blond hair for his Amatsukaze butai...
But any colour of hair that he got, he still look gorgeous don't you think?
