I bought her new album Heart Station two days ago.. korean version ^^
But I LOVE it big grin

I think it's the best album so far... smile

I love Utada Hikaru. She's my first japanese female idol.

I like her song First Love and It was the first japanese song I memorized. I was shocked when her song Sanctuary was the theme for kingsom hearts. The more I was crazy about it. weeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhh!!

utada hikaru is my first most fav jap song i love from a jap drama. from HYD "Flavor of Life" that songs always gets to me... great voice!

I wouldn't exactly call Hikki an idol in the japanese word sense of it...

I also love her music and her voice, and the new album got me addicted, at least the singles on it. Flavor of Life -ballad version-, Prisoner of Love...

Final Distance is even in japanese music books for schools!

Btw, at Music Station, she was not so nice to Jun. cry

Actually, she's the reason why I fell in love with Japan and Arashi! I know she's supposed to have a new English album coming up soon, but I don't think she's gonna release it soon yet that's why I'm always waiting. ~sigh~

I wonder, what will her next album be like? Quite mysterious, ne?

hikki was my first step into jpop YEARS ago. i have her FIRST single, first love, thanks to my ex boyfriend who used to live in japan. i followed her through first love, distance, deep river, and exodus (yes, her english album released via def jam). but after that, i stopped listening to international music and focused on domestic music and i guess that was around her hiatus.

i didn't get back into jpop til this year (and expanded into different parts of it) and i'm extremely happy that she's STILL doing well in the industry.

def jam SUCKED at promoting her. i hope her upcoming english album does so much better than her last.
