Maria didn't die. The story ends after Tony ( Sho's character) dies and the 2 gangs made peace with each other.

I love West Side Story so when I discovered they had made their own version i was so excited ahha. I watched it on fancam and it was pretty good for a musical considering I don't understand any of it >.< but the music sounded right. I was surprised they didn't choose Ohno to be Tony! Jun was perfect for Bernado though.

I love the death scene for Ohno and Jun. I know it's horrible, but I was laughing the entire time. Especially at Ohno's death with the music timed just right!! Duh Dun!!

I watched a fancam of the Japanese West Side Story. You can dl it at Arashian Files. However, the person who filmed it only filmed the stage when the Johnny's people were on. At all other parts of the video it's just black, but you can still hear the sound. I thought it was pretty good. Ohno's voice was of course WONDERFUL!!! clapping

Sho's death was sad, though. ~sigh~

i was surprised at first that they picked ohno to be riff instead of tony... but then it made sense because riff's dance parts are much harder, and so i guess they wanted ohno for that. seeing him do the gym mambo and "cool" was so awesome!! i do think he could have sang tony's songs way better than sho (even tho sho wasn't bad!) it's just too bad that the fancam only showed the parts where arashi members were onstage, because there was no video for "america" ;_;

I've always been a huge fan of West Side Story, ever since I was a kid. I never got to see it on broadway but I own the movie version and it is amazing! I used to sing the songs all the time - so I was so happy to hear that it was going to be on the Japanese stage!

I've only seen bits and pieces of it on Youtube and Veoh however, but it looks amazing!

Ah that was such a good musical. I really like musicals so i've seen it. I really really wanna see Ohno, Sho and Jun in it. I think it would be so cool! yeah. Ohno as Rif (that's who he was right) would be sweet! man i wanna see it. Rif was my fav character so yeah
