Yay!

I get to start the Philippines thread. I know
there’s a lot of Filipino fans in here. Arashi is really getting bigger
in our country because mainly of Jun-bait and the ever famous Gokusen
series. One proof is me! I’ve been a fan only since Feb of this year and
I can’t believe how many I’ve read and knew about them plus the downloads! kekeke whistle

in such a short span of time. And still, I’m craving for more! And its hard to catch up, ne? Also,the sad part is I know for most other countries Arashi merchandise is not readily available and its just so upsetting confused

Arashi forums especially Aibakaland is just our relief so I really thank Haru for creating this site clapping

So fans in the Philippines, let's unite and spread the Arashi rabu! Heart

I have a poll question... Who is your fave member?

I know we all love them but in every country, there is really that one member who is more popular over the others. I wanted to know who is most popular in our country so please vote!

Although I was born in the Philippines, & migrated to America 21 yrs. ago it's interesting to know how many ARASHI fans are there back home. It's funny to see that in the Philippines the favorites are Nino & Jun. I voted for Nino, but Ohno is also one of my favorite member. clapping

I guess I don't count in the poll cause I moved to America.. 12 years ago? I left when I was 8 so I never got "into" anything other than playing in the calsada with neighbors XD

All I remember seeing from Japan was Sailor Moon, dubbed in Tagalog.
We went back for a visit when I was 14 and still the only thing that was popular was anime. I want to go back now and see what I can pick up now that I know that apparently TONS of Arashi fans exist in the Philippines.

yeah, i'm interested to know too. i wanted to see numbers, roughly how many we are at least in this forum for now. I agree Nino is quite popular too because of Iwo Jima shown here last March. I actually just finished watching that movie this week and Nino is really a great actor. I was happy he didn't die in the movie.

hahaha...yes.. playing in the calsada (like patintero, taguan...etc..etc). I missed those times too because i noticed kids here nowadays being kept at home watching tv, playing video games and doing other indoor stuffs. there's still some though who plays in the calsada but its not that frequent not like in my days its like we go out to play everyday until night time smile

sailor moon in tagalog? i was assuming its one of those shown in TFC?

. just started to love them this january and yes it's because of jun but now i've come to love aiba more. he's my favorite now smile

it's really hard to find arashi stuffs her in the philippines. you can only buy it online and i'm thankful that i've found aibakaland cause i've learned a lot about arashi! clapping

I moved to America 8 years ago and it makes me so happy to know a lot of Filipino fans love Arashi. I want to go home!

I love all of them but Nino is still my favorite.

hi arashi fans from the philippines! it's great to know that our number is growing. smile

we really have to spread the arashi rabu-rabu here so that they'd think of visiting. and it's also nice to know that there are also Filipinos abroad who are fans of arashi. smile

i'm also a jun-bait but not because of gokusen shown in a local channel. got to know him first in hanadan when one of my classmates made me watch it from her computer. i was thrilled when i knew of GMA showing gokusen on TV but i was really surprised, and happy also, that it became such a hit and that jun became famous here.

after watching a lot of arashi stuffs, i got to know them more and i came to really like ridaa! smile

yup, i voted for him in this poll. actually i really like them all so it's really hard to choose whom to vote for, but in the end i chose oh-chan. in love

hope to get to know more arashi fans from the philippines!

Twas sheer agony to make me pick one, because I am partial to Nino-Ohno-Sho....but a poll's a poll, so I had to pick one......*sniff*

Voted for Nino since he is the first one I loved, and the 'main' reason I got into Arashi. smile

I voted Nino. I'm shocked that Nino's thus far highest when Jun is usually a Pinay fave. Actually Nino looks a bit like a Chinoy so a lot of Pinays like that... XD

For my part, it's not that much of a shocker, since most people I personally know (who are film buffs) only have high praises for Nino since seeing him in Letters from Iwo Jima...so I guess you could say that was his main 'hook' before they knew him as an Arashi member.

And there's this thing I hear about Pinays wanting guys who are....cuddle-some? And Nino has that little-boy-lost look. Haha! (Or maybe that's just me.)

I expected the majority to favor 松本..
Having Hana Yori Dango shown here and all.

Maybe because of Iwo Jima Kara no Tegami, it made him popular.

I hope they show Yamada Tarou Monogatari then sometime.
