Yes, I am, since I'm a secondary school student. It's a yellow blouse and peacock blue (teal with a bit more blue) pleated skirt.

The government thinks that this makes every everybody look equal and smart and neat and presentable... so I've been told since young.
4) Do you like it?
It does come with it's perks. We get students' discounts if we are in uniform automatically (or else you'd have to show your bus pass/identity card). However, since my school's colours are the only school in the world which uses such a colour scheme we do get spotted and identified easily if we do something socially inappropriate in the public's eyes. We are a girls' school, after all.

Singapore like most/all asian countries, public schools wear uniform from the time you enter kindergarden till you reach tertiary institutions. Junior colleges have uniforms but polytechnics do not.

Yes i have. (elementary)From Kindergarten through 5th grade we didn't have to wear school uniform, we could wear whatever we wanted. But when 6th grade started and had a new principal, we had to wear a school uniform t-shirt.

Even in Intermediate school i had to wear a school shirt uniform.

Yes we still do have to wear them.
In elementary, It's only a t-shirt with our school's name on it, for the bottom we could wear whatever we want but it has to meet the dress code. The uniform had three different colors of shirts black, ash gray, and orange. Then on the front had our school's name on it.

When i moved on to Intermediate school, i had to wear uniform too. It's only the shirt with our school name on it. Also for PE we had to wear a uniform. There's three differnt colors of shirts we can wear black, gray and dark orange.

I don't know if uniforms are common in our country, but i know only hawaii has to wear school uniform shirts.

I think up to highschool you have to wear school uniforms.

Nope, here they aren't many schools having uniform. I think there are few and -of course- they are private schools. Here you just wear your own clothes, but sometimes people are SO much like each others it could be uniform lol except that most of the time it's ugly

No. I wish we wore uniforms. Then I'd never have to choose clothes to wear in the mornings. I know it's like well you can just put on whatever... but I have a soft spot. Sometimes I hate getting dressed but I can't go out unless I dress and actually take into consideration what I'm putting on... Yup, unconvenient.

Yea, it's common. All schools have uniforms - and basically the same ones; only the prefect uniforms differ. (Private schools have different uniforms though).

3.Because i went to catholic school and they required you to wear school uniform everyday!!!.

4.Not really. I hated it so much because it required you to tuck your shirt inside your skirt, but i didn't like that. back in high school, i used to get detentions all the time for not having my shirt tuck in.

Yup, since forever. Hated the grade school uniform, hated the high school one even more. My school was run by nuns, and they probably thought that dressing us up like nuns (all white, ick) would make us all want to be one. They were SO wrong. LOL

I never had to wear one since I went to school in the US. There are private schools that wear them, but in public schools you are not required unless they change the rules in that district.

I always wanted to wear one, it would have saved me many hours of trying to figure out what to wear to school each day. And it would also cut back on all the pressure on students to wear the "right" clothes to try to fit in.

That's kinda cool to have to wear a uniform at a university. I don't know if I would actually like to wear them though. If I had an 8:00 class I would just show up pretty much in pj's and then go back home to change for my next class. I HATE early classes!! And besides, for my major, we wouldn't really be able to wear uniforms since we were in the gym or outside all the time with Physical Education.

at school we were basically required to wear the prescribed uniforms. but as of now i still don't have to wear uniforms because it's not really required for work. but if ever i would have to work for a company that requires its employees to wear uniforms, then i might not have that much of a choice but to comply...

this will depend on how the uniform looks like. ^^ but i liked/loved my high school uniform.. it is quite unique and girl-friendly..

yes. people will wear uniforms for almost all of their school days - it depends on the University/College if they do have uniforms (in my case we don't have them). and it may even extend to up until you're working. ^^

i've always worn unifrom since the day i started studying almost all schools here in the philippines requires uniform. i'll pos a picture of my uniform once my phone is fix^^ i don't really mind wearing them. and uniform here in my country can be seen word by even up to college students like me >________<

Yes. I wore a uniform (cardigan, skirt and blouse) from kinder to the eigth grade, and I wore a PE uniform all throughout high school.

I had to wear uniform during elementary because I went to a private school, and I think most private schools in the US have a uniform. I think one of the reasons why we had to wear a PE uniform for high school is because we had to run around our school, through the residential area during PE. So if any students tried to run away, they could easily find them. (LOL)

I liked having a uniform, I didn't have to think about what I had to wear each day.

Uniforms are common in the US...like others said, it depends on the private or public school. And most students who wear uniforms are elementary or high school students, not really college students.
