^Did you try ffdshow codec? That seems to work for most people.
The easiest way is to play the video in VLC Player. It plays almost anything, without having to dl new codecs. VLC Player -->

µTorrent is good.
Torrent is peer-to-peer, your download speed depends on upload speed of uploader. And thus depending on seeders, your download speed may be very very slow or pretty good - or nothing. Just don't be greedy and remember to seed also after downloading.
You don't really need to know ports and such unless µTorrent doesn't work at all.

Ahem... sorry to butt in but i just want to share the program i'm using for torrents. The program is Flashget :

its a download manager that can also handle torrents. For me, this program is much easier After you download and install the program, go and dowload the torrent file you want. Then in flashget, click on "Jobs" and then choose "Open torrent" and locate the torrent file... and thats it! Sorry if i'm not clear, i don't have the program open right now cuz i'm at work but if you have questions, let me know
i dont know :
1.how to use textsub, filtre text sub and filtre subtitle
2.where and when should i put the text on?
3.what should i do once i get the subtitle ex: i got the subtitle from someone else's journal,,should i copy paste it? or else??????
and last
is bittorent better than other download manager?if yes what are the advantages???i'm using another download manager,,it works fine for me..but if bittorent is better i dont mind changing into it...
sorry it's me again..
for codecs..how do i know whether i have/don't have a spesific codec??is it when you can't play the file and the media player said that "i dont have the codec or the file corrupted"
Then download a player or/and update codecs.
For example BSPlayer is free (search version 1.37 if you don't want adware).[/quote]
Is that codec compatible with windows media player 11 or media player classic??im using those two right now..

You download the subtitles. It's totally up to you where on the video you put them..
Bittorrent is just ONE of the torrent programs. It ain't one of the best ones if you ask me. I like µTorrent better.
You know you are missing a codec if you cannot play a certain file. If you cannot play, for example, files encoded with x264, you're missing that codec. When you update your codecs remove the old one. That is, if you have installed some packet of codecs remove it first before installing new packet. If a player is in general able to play the certain format (like rmvb), then you can play it when you have codec. At least Media Player Classic supports rmvb etc formats.

I'm sorry if you're getting this message again.. bu I wasn't sure the last one got through...
I've downloaded all 4 parts of yoiko no mikata ep 3 from wii upload, but somehow each one came with differents sizes (102.399 KB, 102.368KB and 102.396 KB) I know the difference is small but since I couldn't join it, I tought this might be the problem... thanks for the help and the dramas
^ They should be the same, exactly the same - at least all the other parts except last, which can be smaller size.
But then what should I do?I mean is there a way I can change the sizes?? I'm sorry to trouble you with this but it takes a LOT of time to download episodes so if there anything I can do so I won't have to download the whole thing again please tell me....
Thanks a Lot
how many days or hours do you guys spend just to download a torrent file... for me it takes 5 days, and now its 100 and obviously not yet complete... how do i download fast... im only downloading 1 torrent, so there is no way that im greedy ind downloading.
