The first thing i noticed when i saw this movie was the quietness. It was almost silent the entire movie but this makes the most important parts of the movie all the more dramatic when they occur.
i think this movie was fantastic...it had a great plot and was filled with suspense and thrill...and the nino did a great job in portraying his character..it felt so real that the whole time i was watching it i had goosebumps all over...it was kinda sad at the end though...although it really made a good impact and nino'a acting and presence was really the icing on the cake...yummy!
i was late for class today because i was watching this movie!!
haha. anyhoos, no worries; for i hadn't really got myself into trouble.. but shuichi did!
goodness, it was so sad to see someone fall that way.. even if it was fictional, i thought it could definitely happen to anybody..
nino was so good in the movie! he really made me feel that he was the one who was suffering from all those miserable stuff.. but he was really lucky to have friends like daimon and co. (woops, can't remember the other one), and his sort of girlfriend..
i was so touched when they lied to the policeman for his sake!
btw, i liked the policeman character - most especially when shuichi asked about him buying a road racer (or was it the games for his children), and he responded with:

i just watched this movie the other day. Nino is seriously a really, really, really good actor.
his eyes are intense. the plot, the darkness, the angles, the pacing, the entire movie, i loved it. it really gets to you, all the emotions, moods and the story itself. Nino was great and i don't think anyone could have portryed his character better. I highly recommend it to those who haven't watched it yet.

I like the movie but i hope it hasn't influenced my dormant psycopath, emo mind...
the first thing i've noticed was that the hue of the movie was blue (duh! ao no honoo!!). I think it depicted the creepy and eerie sound of the movie... my favorite part was when he killed ishioka and he started to clean up the mess (mailing the knife somewhere and washing his hands then vomiting). He showed his acting prowess and it made me look at him not as nino the idol but as shuichi the weird guy.
the ending was unexpected. i just realized it when the camera kept on showing the large truck, then at shuichi then he went past that truck. that was so sad ... i thought he really meant to say everything to the police after saying goodbye. and the girl kept on wishing him good luck...
this movie, even though i don't recommend it to young people who have sad lives gets a rating of 10/10 for me!
I saw this before I even heard of Arashi. (The only person I knew in the movie then was Matsuura Aya, and that was because I downloaded it off the ThePPN trackers.)
I'm still kind of shocked to know that Nino was the lead in it. It was a pretty good movie, and Nino's acting awed me back then, and now I find out that it's Nino?! The same Nino who hooked me in Yamada Taro Monogatari? XD My brain continues to reel.
I watched this quite a long time ago, when I haven't even heard about Nino. So when I started to like him, I was so surprised to know the fact that Nino was in this movie. And as a leading role! Superb acting as usual. I can feel the bitterness in his character.

I just recently saw this movie, and I'd like to say that I didn't cry, but that would be a lie.
Nino's acting is superb in this movie. You can feel every emotion, and its almost as though your experiencing everything for yourself, like you're the one taking matters into your own hands. You know what though, it actually took me a while to notice the blue tint that the movie had XD I tend to not pay attention to details sometimes ^^;
The one scene that really made me feel the gravity of it all was the scene were Shuichi killed Sone. The facial and bodily emotions that he expressed when he realized that his step father was dead were absolutely amazing from an acting stand point. It's really a movie that makes you look at the world and say "woah."
The end threw me for a loop. Part of me knew that he wouldn't really confess to the police, but the other part of me kept saying that he wouldn't put his sister and mother through another death. The part of me that felt he would commit suicide thought he wouldn't run his bike in front of a line of traffic....... I knew the instant that they panned the truck in thought that the movie would end there, and my breath caught and I just...cried until long after the credits had rolled.
Kudos to the person whom decided to have "Post War Dream" by Pink Floyd as the theme song though. It really fits amazingly.
I give this movie a 10/10, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone whose dealt with abuse before.

Aya....I just finished the movie.
It's really amazing how Nino can grasp all these different emotions and portray it as if it really happened. He truly is a talented actor and he was only 20 then! He was still young. He captured my heaaaart! I was feeling for him all the way until the end!! I would've liked to see his character at least hug his sister or someone before he'd leave...but I guess that it was also good the way he left them. Unaware without any doubts.
Not my favourite type of movie genre, but my favourite movie from Nino. Made me cry. Made me feel horrified. Made me feel depressed. Made me feel evil. Made me feel rebellious. Made me feel emotional. Made me fell in love with his eyes and laughter and his talent.
