5) Is uniform common in your country? People will wear the uniform until what grade? In public schools in the USA it is not common to wear an uniform,some schools do,but it's not the majority of the schools. Private schools are the ones that do enforce the whole uniform thing

Since I live in the United States uniforms arn't very common in public schools. Mostly in Private schools; or church schools do they have uniforms here. But I would love to have uniforms! Like those cute little uniforms you see on anime shows; or drama shows. I would love to have one<3 But when my class had a debate about uniforms almost everyone sided to the no uniforms policy. I don't see what's wrong with uniforms I think they look cute :]

When I was in elementary school in England we had a uniform, but it wasn't mandatory, except for special occasions, like concerts or conferences - that sort of thing.

When I went to high school in the US we had a very strict dress code. Collared shirts in red, blue, white, or black. Khaki or black dress pants (or skirts) only. It was as close as the school could get to a uniform and still be a public school.

It's for high school. It's pretty much the same for guys and girls. Navy blue golf shirt, long sleeve, or zip polo and grey pants. But of course, girls can wear kilts instead of pants.

Uniforms are pretty common in high school but not really for elementary schools. I think uniforms are more for elementary and high school students. I've never seen people wear it for university.

no.university in Indonesia is uniformless ahaha.
i went to private school since kindergarden til junior high school. the uniform in my school is quite different from public school (public school in my country have uniform too).
my uniform color is mostly green and we have a green batik uniform that distinguish us from other school.
and when in high school i wear the same uniform as any other people in my country..that called "putih abu-abu" (white shirt with grey skirt/pants)

No, not anymore. I've had 3 sets of uniforms: one for pre-school, another for grade school, and another for high school. They're similar to each other even though they're from different schools, because all of them are a white-blouse-and-checkered-skirt set with the school logo and a name patch on the blouse. For pre-school, the skirt colors were white and blue; for grade school, red and green; for high school, green and white.
