Any of you guys seen the new movie with ALL ARASHI members in it?? Called Kiiroi Namida or Yellow Tears-
Its set in Japan in the 60's. Pretty arty kind of film, really love it though, you can really feel the hot summery breeze of Japan. So cool too how they all play really different characters- Well not saying this cause I'm a massive Nino lover , but he acted really good in this movie. Nino's acting skills really stands out.
What did you think of the film??
haha Jun's character in Yellow tears sort of reminds me of the character he played in Pikanchi...hahaha Jun's such a lovable dork
Oh, and with Nino's character liking one of this girl- gahhhh, I can't believe I was actually feeling kind of jealous hahaha..
Aside from that, they were all so kawaii as usual, they're outfits were pretty cool as well

I liked the movie, but I didn't love it. I didn't really get the plot til the middle of the movie.
That's when it all clicked and i started like, getting everything.
But other that than it was a cute movie, and amazing acting on all their parts. (wasn't too crazy about the hair though ;])
And there wasn't a lot of Jun, I thought that was kind of messed up since I think next to Nino that he's the best actor.

I actually bought the LE version of this movie & I just loved it. Their characters fit them really well & I wasn't too crazy about their hair either & Jun's character reminded me of his character from PIKA*NCHI too. Ohno's character was just too kawaii. I was also when Nino grabbed the girl & kissed her, because I've never seen him do that in any of his past doramas. Anyways, the movie is great.
I really love this film, beautifully shot, also all members acted well,
the whole film is bit like a modern art to me.
I love films like 'not much of words, but make you think
or make you read between the lines' kind of stuff.
What's more, the story is based in 50s, which makes me
feel nostalgic, reminiscent although I wasn't born at that
time yet. It reminds me of my childhood...
And also those guys struggle between own dream and reality
just like me!

I got the LE version for my birthday near the end of November, but I still haven't had the chance to sit down and watch it. I hope that I get a chance soon because you all make it sound really good.
I saw the movie a month ago, because I was interested in the time frame it was settled, because I love the 60's and seemed interesting the japanese POV.
It was remarkable how everyone of the guys portrayed their different characters. Particularly Sho's character striked home in many aspects, and I believe Nino is an excelent actor. I wish we could've seen more of MatsuJun, as he always manage to keep the viewer's attention despite his few scenes.
I'm on my way getting to know the group, but think Aiba and Ohno made an excellent job too.
I liked the movie because it isn't a light movie and explore issues like coming to age, being an adult in a changing world and what can be freedom and how it's relative to everyone.

the movie was really great not just with the actors but with the story itself... it's a mature story and it really is a movie about dreams and your way of getting them (though they did not actually achieve their dreams)...
the sepia-ish movie makes the impression that's it's really in the past...
i recently saw this movie...for once i focus on the story rather than the looks of the people acting in it..the story is sugoi ..... absolutely a must see...
I liked the movie well enough, I didn't really understand the part in the beginning where they needed to sneak Nino's mom off the train. Why was she on the train in the first place? Was the train a mobile hospital? o_o...I'm sorry but I'm dumb OTL.
When the 4 of them were all living in that small room, it looked really cozy. XD

sepia-ish! That's exactly how the movie was, you put it in words really well.
I'm ashamed to say that I haven't watched it yet. I need to make time to watch it with my sister and it's kinda difficult. And I wanna buy the DVD when I have the money... But it looks like a great movie. Very artistic!

anyway, weap.. ive watched the movie!
nino and the rest were awesome!
but then i thought it would be better if aiba was the manga person, and nino was the song-writer person
it matches their personalities! (like oh-chan's matched wellof course.., sho-kun, well what can i say? KEIO BOI right? and he does seem to be a novel type of guy XD jun, hes,... well.. i dont know for this movie xD)
Nevertheless, i liked this movie, but didnt LOVE it... just like it

I think the mother didn't want to go to tokyo to have an operation so nino, to be able to take her to tokyo, had his friends pretend as doctors to give her a feeling of assurance or something, that the doctor himself is going to pick her up...
because i think at that time, there's not much hospital service support for poor people

Oh man I was always planning on starting a thread for this, never remembered xD
I have the LE DVD of this too, and its so good because it has subs That made me super happy, although some of the subtitles have bad grammar
As for the movie itself, I thought it was really good. Minna did an amazing acting job. Each of them had a moment where their character really spoke to me.
*spoilers*
One of my fav parts has to be when Oh-chan got really angry and broke his paintbrushes, it was a really powerful scene, especially since we've all never seen Oh-chan so emotional.
I also really liked the scenes with Sho at the cafe, and his "novel" that just had a great cover ^_^;; I thought his plot sounded really nice though. I thought it'd be cute~
And of course, Matsujun~~~ I wish he had more than 5 MINUTES in the movie, and I was kind of mad about his character's ending...maybe just because I didn't like that girl? But oh well~
