for a while i didn't realize that this was aiba's solo song. i i used to think it was jun's, but that was when i was first getting to know arashi and now i pay more attention to who was singing what.

~ i was not able to breathe while listening to the song while analyzing the lyrics. i was kinda in the frenzy with the song because it was like, so meant for me. moreover, i am so curious on how he's going to perform the song in the con.

GIMMICK GAME:

I love this song and am so proud of Nino because: 1) He composed, wrote, and co-arranged the song; and 2) This song is so different from his previous songs and he's completely pulled it off. Very R&B, upbeat, I can't wait to see how Nino will perform this song in concert!

After reading a translation of the lyrics, this song has left me with a very weird feeling. It's a song about the anger and bitterness about a broken relationship, one that the person doesn't want to end because he's not over the girl.

I think the lyrics have affected me this much because I've felt those feelings before, and I don't like myself for feeling/thinking that way. And I certainly don't want Nino to think such mean thoughts!

BUT, knowing Nino, and how he wrote the lyrics incredibly fast between Sho's sweating over curry and Riida doing art with dirty hands, it's probably complete sarcasm. He's probably laughing to himself about the stir he's caused to his gullible fans (like me) who are taking the song literally.

Not favorite per se, but the lines that affected me the most are:

It's very spiteful, him saying he also has a "lie" on the nape of his neck and that, after having left his mark on the nape of her neck again, says he's so done with the relationship. This indicates that he's nowhere near done with the relationship, he just needs to have the last say to make him feel better. As in, he's the one in control and the relationship is over when he says it's over.

I was pleasantly surprised when I first heard this song. It is just so different from Nino's previous solos.

When I first heard the song, particularly the first few seconds, I was thinking, "Did Nino write this song?" because like what everyone has said, it's so different from what Nino usually writes. I couldn't stop listening to it afterwards.

Now that I know what it's about and what inspired it, I still love the song (maybe even more). And I love how he can be sarcastic and angsty in a song.
